In answer to your query, 2 Epic CF3's I already have, a 3rd has been the contemplation of the morning. Which might be forgotten again by lunch time. 😀

So, once again I am contemplating a 3rd Epic CF3 to use as a center channel, which I have been lazily doing for the last 10 years or so. 🤔 I have passed up on quite a few opportunities over the years to fulfill that desire, one reason being, how content I've been with the KLF C-7 doing the job, the other based on the fact that the desire was not that strong and so didn't feel like going to get them 🚚then schlep them to their final resting place, one in play up the stairs, another collecting dust in the garage. I would prefer one Epic only, in Southern California, no more than a 20 minutes drive, kidding 😀, but closer the better to overcome my inertia. I would also of course be open to splitting a pair if someone has a similar interest.

How about a pair of Klipsch kp 301's on Canuckaudiomart. Perhaps a 3rd for the center if it would fit. I think they would be loud enough. I would peruse the site for a screen and projector as well. https://www.canuckaudiomart.com/details/649716102-klipsch-kp-301-professional-speakers/

That is beautiful and pretty cool, Micromara. Almost looks like two golden hands coming together. Though this one has a bit more diffused eye opening color perhaps?

Do you have tone controls enabled on the Marantz? Any bump in the treble at the moment? Have you tried turning the treble down and test? Just mentioning things to try before any modding process.
