  1. Here is one for sale locally. Has auto reverse too. Any good? https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/ele/d/norwalk-teac-4300sx-auto-reverse-reel/7269335566.html
  2. A nice wall of sound.👍 though obviously unfinished, until you add another pair on the outsides. Yes?
  3. A pair of version 2's then. 👍 Pics if you get them.😀
  4. If the ports are 5" long, it would still be a version 1. If not, a version 2. Are you in a buying mood, or do you already have them?
  5. the number reads 41st day of 1995.
  6. I'm a big fan of Sennheisers, i've had my HD580's for over 15 years and use them everyday. Having an ovoid ear shape design, they might even accommodate a pair of oversized ears.😀 I've mentioned this song before on why horns. This song was one of those that made me really want to know what was behind the screen. First heard this song at the theater, during closing credits of this movie. The fat sound of the stand up bass and the vocal sounding so large, clear and effortless. Diana Reeves. Just re-watched this movie a little while ago.👍
  7. Here is a single Cornwall IV on Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Cornwall-IV-15-3-way-400-watt-Natural-Cherry-Speaker-AUTHORIZED-DEALER/124041119175?epid=5035280159&hash=item1ce16d45c7:g:LjcAAOSwOxJeGL5G
  8. There are sellers on Ebay that sell singles of Klipsch speakers.
  9. Thanks for sharing that. I know I've heard the temperature within before but have forgotten. 23 degrees! Definitely, a cool adventure.
  10. You wouldn't be in So. California, would you? https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/ele/d/irvine-klipsch-kv4-center-massive/7272099847.html
  11. That's cool. So, you stayed overnight? How was that?
  12. So, who wants to hit the bar at the only ice hotel in North America, up in Quebec. I would love to spend a night there for fun. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/escape/article-9211003/The-2021-version-Canadian-ice-hotel-Quebec-features-15-themed-suites-large-slide.html
  13. Personally, I think it's good to have options. As already said, a two channel system does the job, but there might be a time when those who come to visit will not all be able to sit in the sweet spot. Having a center channel for if and when the need arises is not a bad thing. From your pic, there is going to be a entertainment shelf of some kind. Looks like plenty of room for a center channel. Get a quality A/V receiver with pre-outs to add an amp if desired for the mains and with all the conveniences of HDMI inputs, which he will want to have and which can also power a center channel should the need or desire arise. He might also desire a subwoofer and some bass management might come in handy as well.
  14. The dent in the speaker was a boon. Putting forth to the seller a 1/2 price offer was well done. You basically have a free speaker now, as if and when you sell it, you will definitely recoup what you've spent on it. 👍
  15. One more from this street performer.
  16. A past girlfriend of mine, who was from England, would often request this song when we hit the couch for the evenings entertainment. Randy Travis, It's Just a Matter of Time.
  17. Just a girl talking to Dad, on his favorite progressive albums. He knows his music.
  18. So, i'm listening to this and I keep wondering, which is unusual for me, is this any good? I don't know? Their outfits certainly aren't, Lame.
  19. Weak bass is unsatisfying for sure and the CF3's usually deliver. Something is amiss. So the MX120 is a preamp, I was just reading about it. https://hometheaterreview.com/mcintosh-mx-120-av-preamp-reviewed/ What amp are you using? 320 watts should do the job quite nicely. This mystery needs solving. 🤔 We got to get you back to rockin.🤘
  20. Very cool. 👍 Nice collection too.
  21. This nerd cave theater intrigues. A pic perhaps, only interested in those VMPS subs of course>😀
