To my ears, through my trusty Sennheiser HD580's, A was a lot better, smoother, rounder, more pleasing to the ears. B sounded a bit distorted. On the other hand, B sounded louder in comparison, like he didn't quite have them level matched.

Santa Barbara can be a hard town to sell oversized niche items. It is a fairly small town, isolated on the California coast. It is about 2 hours north of LA and several hours south of the San Francisco Bay area. If there is no one local with an interest, the seller may have a long wait to move those K-horns.

Well, the best recordings for rock I have found are on concert dvd's and blu-rays. The recording quality appears to be a lot higher. I am not a huge Metal fan, but from reading and later purchasing, Metallica's- Through the Never- blu-ray, I have found it to be the most dynamicly recorded disc I have heard to this day. It will work out your sound system like nothing else. Audio/ video is as good as it gets. Slammin.
