  1. Also check out some Arcam (basically Cambridge Audio)
  2. That'd be the one, had one, and had to sell it. When using only 2ch for stereo it could create more power than an 8008BB.
  3. If you like it loud I suggest you look for 125-200 Watt amplifier. Integrated amplifiers don't usually come in flavors above 100W/ch. I would look for a used pre-amp, and amplifier combo. Don't overlook pro amps for a score of cheap power!
  4. Good reply. Pray you never find out. lol "Game of Thrones" authori who's been promising to complete the next book in the series for quite a while now (and still hasn't). Too late, I hit google already. I see what you are implying here, certainly not a trait I am trying to acquire.
  5. One would first have to acquire an Atmos capable receiver before one could "beta test".
  6. send me a pm(as a reminder), i will make sure you get it.
  7. We are moving as fast as we can. I don't know when official details will be released. Rest assured they are coming, and soon!
  8. I should add, proper alignment is pretty important like wvu80 suggested. Use a C-clamp when installing the nut, this will keep it nice and straight.
  9. I think 10-32 is what we often use. 5mm is pretty common from outside the USA.
  10. Why not get a pair of R-115SWs? A pair would do quite well in that space. http://www.klipsch.com/R-115SW
  11. You too? So do others at work.
  12. ^ Yeah, what he said. ^ The R-115SW is a bargain at its price!
  13. All of these new subwoofers have more bracing than the previous SW line. The subs also have an improved assembly method to increase rigidity. They also have a new port design that reduces turbulence. There is more to the sound than the specs lead you to believe. The woofers are an all new design as well.
  14. You can use thinner baffle material is the structure is braced good enough. As previously mentioned opposing woofers will help with stability. As an added feature you could make two boxes where two woofers fire at each other in the center. The top and bottom would still be one sold piece.
  15. Wow! That would be awesome if you found one. The guys on the phone were pretty adamant about not having parts for that sub. They also didn't want to play the "upgrade" game with me ... so it looks like I might be hanging onto this one for the time being. It looks like those parts have went the way of the dinosaurs. So what was the option customer service gave you?
  16. Did you ask if there is a warranty woofer part when you called? I would think there may be some left. Let me look into this, maybe I can come up with something. No promises.
  17. We will always have stuff coming... Don't be late to the party, you need one now, you need one now, look into my eyes...
  18. And there you have it folks... Now the rest of ya need to go plop down some coin and buy some R-115sw subs.
  19. As this is just an experiment, we are using stuff from the barn.
  20. That is a standard R-115SW on the right, another 15 over on the left, both underneath a one off pair "colts" inspired RF7. The wood shop rocks!
