  1. when I had KG 5.5s I used several different power sources but the Panasonic digital receiver had 100wpc, Outlaw Audio RR2150 at 100wpc and I also used a Nakamichi STASIS with 45wpc...those speakers can bring it but I never had to use all that power...they are quite efficient...I didn't settle on the Panasonic because of the watts per channel but just because I was using mine as a smaller, 3.0 home theater set up... In my 3.0 (L-C-R) set up, those KG 5.5s provided plenty of bass for movie watching... When listening to just music in my preferred Stereo (rather than multi channel) the Panny could use a Dual Amp set up which allowed the multi channel amps to boost power to the amp used for Stereo and provide better sound... 5. I will leave this up for today but then will be listing elsewhere (at higher than Klipsch Forum Family prices ) as I thought to sell it in the Family I had not yet listed it on other sites... Thanks for all the interest and if I missed anyone who PM'd or emailed, please hit me up again as my list shows I have contacted everyone back... Bill
  6. I didn't think they were designed for corners but to be on the floor angled up for PA's/band singers and such... Bill
  7. I was using a 3.0 system with my television and Home Theater receiver and it was pretty nice (KG 5.5s for the L and R and a KLF C7 for the Center) and right now that system has been pared down to the same receiver but Quartets for the L and R anon Center...it sounded great and still sounds very nice... I think you'll do just fine with whatever your choice is...I did have a bit of processing when using the 3.0 that I don't have in the 2.0 system but both are better than just the speakers that came with the TV... Bill

  10. Updates to the For Sale ad... McIntosh MA6200 with cabinet and panlocs... local sale only as I do not have the shipping boxes/pallet and would not risk shipping this otherwise...$1400.00... Outlaw Audio RR2150 retro receiver $OLD...since I have both boxes for the Outlaw, I will consider shipping this on the buyers dime but the weight is about 30 pounds... I will try to quickly respond to any more questions anyone has...thanks for looking. Bill

  16. I'm unsure on that particular model but from what I have seen in the past...if it is up to spec, it should be a decent price for one of those (basing my advice on a similar but less "electronic" MAC 4100)... Bill
