I know these questions seem beat to death...I did the search and there was a lot of information but not so much as it pertained to HT with Heresy mains. If you could get either center channel for the same price-in the same condition-and not for re-sale (we know what Academys go for) what do you think would be the best math? The KLF-C7 has a bit more efficiency, a bit less response, can handle a bit more power and has a different style horn... I know the C7 was for the Legend series and the Academy was for the Heritage but several have mentioned that the Heresy is not REALLY the Heritage line so...you see my question...how 'bout your thoughts. I sure did...talked to his wife today...she was out of town when the speakers invaded the home...("didn't we put those in the basement???")...anyway buddy puts on one of her favorite movies and...WOW she says GREAT!...I told him he has to listen to some MUSIC once in a while...hopefully he will be joining here as well. ...as many of you know (ad nauseum I suspect) I have recently upgraded to HT and my mains upped to Heresys...this allowed me to sell my KG2s to a pal...I sold them for almost nuthin' (best time to buy is when your buddy is HAPPY with his new speakers and wants ta share "the love"...hmmmm, that didn't sound right... ) Well, my buddy called me last night to say he just hooked up the KG2s and...WOW!...says he...(upgraded from ancient Fisher 15" woofer monsters that just disintegrated...)...anyway...my buddy had never heard Klipsch speakers before but now he is a certified Klipsch-O-Phile...eggggselllent! Just thought I'd share cuz all of you were so good to share with me! Bill (Oh, and big brother, if your reading this...quit lurking and join for gosh sakes...gotta keep it mild...thanks to you too! )

I vote Heresy...I had KG2s and liked them but the Heresy was a big move up for me...when I bought my KG2s, I didn't like the KG4s...not sure how much different the 4.2 is from the 4 but... Bill

colterphoto1: I feel your pain on being ripped by ebay...and they don't stand behind anything (neither does paypal)...the problem with ebay is you are completely at the mercy of the seller (and the seller is of the buyer)...if he/she is honest and you are...great deal...I have had good experiences with the 'bay but...if one is dishonest...getting ANY releif is a dream.
