  1. Thanks for the good thoughts...I thought about the square deal thing but I don't see it getting any better by paying $20 MORE dollars...maybe I will give it a try in a bit. Seismic...I have sent follow ups to both ebay AND to PayPal...no response back...I think they are standing their ground. I asked them the next step and was civil but firm...my feedback of audiophileoutlet is all the characters I was allowed to fit...Fraud,Liar, Cheat, Thief fits as well. Thanks, Bill
  2. Last week I won an auction for a NIB, sealed, unopened Klipsch KLF-C7 center channel to add to my new to Home Theater system I am building...well, it arrived, opened, damaged PRIOR to transport, missing pieces and used... I emailed the seller as when I bought it it was listed as NIB with a "30 day money back guarantee" No response from seller...several more emails, no response...a friend emailed the seller about a different item and SUPRISE got a response...hmmmmm. I waited 48 hours after my last email warning the seller that I would file comlaints with both paypal and ebay (woooo, I'm scarey! ) and waited an additional day before doing so... my responses from ebay and paypal??? PayPal said as long as I received SOMETHING that the transaction was complete...even though the item had "PayPal Buyer Protection" I actually have none at all from PayPal...oh, by the way, contact ebay says PayPal...(who owns PayPal interestingly enough) Ebay said...Thanks for your complaint...we will investigate further...YOU GET NOTHING!...if we find the seller is wrong as you say, we will tell him not to defraud people anymore, maybe suspend his account or kick him off ebay (until he comes back as another name, right???) Life is full of lessons...I learned a $455.01 lesson right here. Advertised: NIB with full warrantee on a no longer made center channel What I Got: Broken corners one was "repaired" using black magic marker, dusty and dirty, a gooey ring where someone had laid a glass, scuffs and scratches on top and a lot more on the bottom, no speaker grill and no owners manuals or paperwork...also the serial number is different than the one on the box. Sorry for the rant...at least the speaker works...for now. I was lulled into trusting the seller by pictures of a brick and mortar store with big stocks, ebay store, 100% money back guarantee and a decent rating along with "PayPal" buyer protection...instead I learned that someone is only as good as their word and not everyone is as good as the people here and the ebayer I bought my Heresys from. Be Safe! Bill Bill
  3. Rudy81: Your photos of the Belles are beautiful...I also want to thank you for the photo of the factory refurbished tweeter...I had wondered for the definitive answer to that as my Heresys have a similar tweeter with that same purplish red "R"...nice to know it wasn't replaced with a "Kinda Klipsch" speker. Bill
  4. I think many are displeased with BIC for being a speaker company that has ripped off the designs of Klipsch and then market their products as "better than Klipsch...) just my .02. Bill

  6. Thanks Snails_Pace: I did mean with the Heresys...I tried to get some off of audiogoN and they were already spoken for so I went with plan "B" since I had read they were difficult to find (Oh, 1 guy here has them but won't ship to the MidWest and the other sold them a year ago... )so as soon as I bought "plan B", the KSF-F5s...a set of KSP-S6s came up not far from my home albeit at almost twice what I paid for my not yet received KSF-S5s...wondered if it was worth getting the KSPs and re-selling the KSF-S5s... Thanks, Bill
  7. Congratulations and thanks for sharing. Bill
  8. The KSP-S6s are one step up the food chain for surround speakers...they are of the dipole variety (not good for multichannel music listening I'm told)...If you were going to use your multichannel 5.1 system, would you "upgrade" to the KSP-S6s or stick with the KSF-S5s...(I would RATHER have Heresy rears but alas, room is somewhat tight.) Thanks for any help. Bill
  9. Outlaw LSM-1 is $579 stand alone but then you have shipping...just a thought. Bill
  10. First online Forum I ever joined...I was buying a silver sportscar...silversport...never thought I would be online so much at so many places but thought I should keep it because then people who see me one place would know me at the other...like ygmn...I see him over at Avalanche website too. Bill
  11. Beautiful Dog...I am sorry for your loss. Bill
  12. Well, it looks like my system, when it all arrives will be...Outlaw Audio 950 processor, 7100 7 X 100 amp, Klipsch Heresy Mains, KLF-C7 center channel and KSF-S5 surrounds...I just won the surrounds on the 'bay...I will keep my eyes out for any Heresys (or Corns :-) and then sell off what I don't use. Thanks for all the help, Bill Now the WAITING begins...
  13. I believe it is a tube set up...the other from that company is the Peach...sorry, don't know the company (internet only.?.) Damned audiophiles...;-) Bill
  14. T2K: hmmmmmmmmmmmm, I already own a pair of KG2s...not the .2s but still...hmmmmmmmmm...I recognize the "flaws with this it's just that I keep thinking that if not much goes to the rear surrounds (I keep hearing mostly mono or not much at all) then why can't I save a bit and get the Synergys (older, new whatever) and save over a set of Heresys...I would LOVE another set of Hereseys because I have really grown to enjoy these speakers but...they take up a bit of room for the room I am using for HT... I have an Outlaw Audio LFM-1 on the way and it should be a nice sub with this "system" but...I wish there were Heresys available in my area for the 3-4 hondo and change I see all over the place but here in Chicagoland!...I got mine within that range and I am sure patience would get me another pair (of speakers ;-) but...patience...hmmmmm. Thanks, Bill
  15. You're livin' my dream...STOP IT! Excellent...enjoy! Bill
  16. Possibly static electricity??? It is Winter here in the MidWest and the homes tend to be dryer, especially if you have carpeting (asier for static to build up) just a thought but this'll keep you at the top. Bill
  17. I have Heresys for the mains...a KLF-C7 for the center...can you recommend surrounds??? I have been told that KSF-S5s and KSP-S6s would be good matches...these are both from the Synergy line...since it is difficult to find these (checked a couple on AudiogoN (spoken for already) and e-bay...shipping almost takes the "bargain" of ebay out of it...what about the Synergy surrounds from BB??? The old SS-3s can be had for a bargain and the new S-3s are not badly priced...tell me about timbre match and all but without actually getting more Heresys (an option but again...in the Chicagoland area...slim pickens!) what would you recommend, Klipsch-O-Philes! Bill
