Beautiful!

If it works with the power switch set to “On” then just set it to that.

Which of these speakers would be better for my surrounds?
wuzzzer replied to Merlin803's topic in Home Theater
I would do the RB-10s. -
DeanG and JEM Performance Audio.

There’s an awesome video on YouTube where a guy runs 1 watt through a pair of speakers that are 87dB sensitivity. Most people have no idea how loud that is through a regular speaker, much less a highly sensitive speaker like most Klipsch are.
-
I’ll ask you one question: have you or anyone you know ever bought what ended up being counterfeit Klipsch speakers?

Where to hear new LaScala AL5s in Illinois?

Klipsch needs to update their site then. -
Where to hear new LaScala AL5s in Illinois?

Klipsch has a Heritage dealer locator that lists what speakers they have set up. When I typed in Peoria, the closest place that came up that has LaScalas is Sundown One in Springfield. Klipsch Authorized Audio Speaker Dealer Locator | Klipsch -
If you mean diaphragm, post a wanted to buy listing farther down the forum in the Garage Sale section.
-
When I replaced the tweeter diaphragms on a few pairs of speakers, I was instructed to use a post-it note and drag it inside the thin channel where the ferrofluid is, doing this for a couple full “swipes” inside it. That was it and I never had any issues.

Sounds like a failing amp unfortunately. I would highly suggest a pair of passive speakers for your next ones, powered by a receiver. Speakers themselves rarely fail unless highly abused. That way if your receiver were to fail you can keep your speakers and just replace the receiver.

The member you’re replying to hasn’t been on the forum since November 2016 .

Check with JEM Performance Audio for the crossovers.
-
It would be a definite upgrade and a much better match to your mains.
-
You’ll hear it.

Don't crank up the bass controls that the receiver has. That'll be the fastest way to suck out all the power it has. If you are using a subwoofer, make sure all your speakers are set to small and let the subwoofer handle the bass.

The random popping sometimes happens with devices that have switching power supplies plugged into the same circuit. It's definitely worth a try to either unplug any devices you have on the same circuit to see if that helps, or plug the speakers into a different circuit.

When I was a teenager my best friend and I would visit Audio King, our local audio store. They had all kinds of Klipsch. I unfortunately don't remember the exact model, it was either a Belle or LaScala that they had set up in a sound room. Absolutely blew me away. I used to go there almost every week to chat with the sales guys and occasionally buy stuff. Never bought anything super high-end from them in terms of home audio because I was more into car audio at the time. Eventually bought a KV1 center speaker as my first Klipsch purchase. In the 30 years since then I've had probably a couple dozen different pairs of Klipsch including RF-7, forte I and II, Quartet, KG4, Heresy I, II and III, RS-42, SS2, KG 3.5, RF-25, and on and on. My current setup of 5 Heresys, two AW-650 for Atmos and two horn subs is by far the best I've ever had and the best I've heard anywhere.

If they're no longer warranty it wouldn't hurt to take the amplifier(s) out and look for anything obvious such as a loose wire, blown fuse, etc. Also try plugging them into a different outlet. Have you recently added anything new in the same circuit they're plugged into that would be turning on and off such as a refrigerator, dehumidifier, etc?
-
Not that I've ever heard. Depending on what you're buying, they have frequent sales so I'd suggest signing up for their marketing emails to be notified regarding them.

What receiver are you using?
-
If you click on their screen name you’ll see that they haven’t been on the forum since April 2021.

You should post this in something like the General section of the forum. As you can see by this section’s description, it’s for discussing things like computer and Bluetooth speakers.

Why would you sell amazing speakers? By the way, take note of the description of this forum section…
