  1. I think your'e on to something there Jules ! " May I call you Jules ?" []
  2. Who knows...maybe 20 years down the road a new Belle Klipsch II will be introduced. If the Cornwall III can be resurrected, there's no saying that the Belle won't come back as well. Looks like no more Reference vs Heritage Wars for me . [] " I'm now officialy a member of the discontinued camp " Hope my little Tirades didn't have anything to do with the Belles demise . [:|] Looks like the next stop for me are the consumer Jubilees !!! Whats the prospect on that Trey ? [li][li][li]
  3. Hey , Another Quote For Nicholtl ! " I wonder what the record is " . My weekly recommendations have been mostly stuff I have found at the local library . Perhaps that Karma carried over into the form of consecutive wins of Marties Klipsch shirts 2 months in a row ! [] Youre welcome Wheelman ! If your still smarting from typing my user name , try a little Aloe and a BC Powder and you should be fine in no time . [H] This weeks selection is no different . Tom Adams and his wife Laura turned me on to the Allison Krauss and Union Station Live CD when they came up to Charleston last weekend to audition some power amps . I found this little jem at the local library a few days ago . You guys should utilize the resources at your local library if you aren't doing so allready . Anywho the CD has some great stuff on it . Great for demoing and listening to . Highly Recomended [Y][Y] PS - If I win another shirt , I will be keeping it ! [][]
  4. About 3 weeks ago DeanG gave me an offer I could not refuse , " Who Knew He Was Italian ? " On the thread Ref. vs Heritage he told me that the caps in my 30 year old AA networks were shot . I popped back saying that for 30 year old shot networks as he called them , my Belles sounded great ! " Heres The Offer " , I send my AA's to him and pay for return shipping and he would refurbish them at his time and expense to prove a point . " Nice Guy , Philanthropist , Patron Saint of the Klipsch Forum or perhaps a Nut ? " Anyway all I had to do was Eat A Little Crow if I felt he was right about my AA networks , if I felt he was wrong I was free to tell everybody he is full of Bantha Fodder . Well I got my refurbished networks back last Friday ; I work nights so they were'nt installed untill early Saturday morning . My impressions are that my Belles sound alot warmer , and overall had a much smoother sound across the board . Thanks Dean . " Crow , it's Whats for Dinner "
  5. What is this "Japanese drums on DMP does DSD" of which you speak ? I am a huge fan of Japanese drums and traditional Korean drumming so please enlighten me!!!! Not sure of what DMP does DSD means but perhaps he is refering to the KODO Heartbeat Drummers of Japan recording from Sheffield Labs . Gotta love any CD with a dynamic range warning ! [li]
  6. Go For It Billy ! Pick me up in Chucktown and I'll ride with ya' and provide some muscle . Nothin But a Thing Dude ! [H]
  7. No More Mr. Nice Guy Lynn , Kick This Things @ss !!!
  8. Jeeez ... Rob Halford " The Human Air Raid Siren "
  9. A friend I grew up with had La Scalas in a smaller room than yours . It would literaly mess with your equalibrium . Ah , the good ole' days . [:-*]
  10. Darn , I was thinking about trying them out as rear surrounds for my Belles . If they didn't work out I could allways use them in the bedroom . [][]
  11. On the plus side , if you look at her feedbacks , she is a size 2 . Hmmm []
  12. Personaly I like the M&K subs . I have a V-125 and it worked great with my 5 Hereseys , but since I puchased a pair of Belles it seems a bit lost ; the output can't keep up . I'm thinking about stepping up to the MX-350 . I'm also thinking about getting another V-125 pulling the Belles out further from the walls and placing a sub behind each one . Anybody here tried that ? Will it work , or will it give me some weird reflection issues ?
  13. Oh nuttn to worry about here. []Nuttn to worry about ? Good God Man , Your Avatar is Missing !!! You think she might have something going on the side ?
  14. I like em' , Just don't tell anybody pleaze ... [:-*]
  15. While shoping at Costco today I spotted my favorite Hitchcock movie North By Northwest and snagged it . I can usually check it out from the library whenever I want to , but at a price of $8.99 I had to have it ! A few months ago I was scoping out the DVD on ebay and with shiping I would have spent more than $20.00 , on a used copy . I was so tickled by the deal I got that I just had to share ! [Y][Y]
  16. Hey Thebes , Who's the winner of my Klipsch t-shirt ?
  17. Blue Dogs and Friends " Live at the Florence Little Theater " CD Blue Dogs are a somewhat South East regional band . Their style of music is a bit hard to define . They sound a bit like a cross of Little Feat , Dixie Dreggs , Gratefull Dead and Dave Mathews . Allthough I found this disc in the Country section of the library , I would best describe their style as good time , jam band , rock n roll . Perfect background music for parties or get togathers . The disc is manufactured and distributed by Redeye Distribution in case anybody is interested .
  18. " From DeanG " Sunburnwilly -- What I sent back to you is a pair of rebuilt "Type AA's", but it does have the tweeter filter from this network. It's really just a tweaked AA tweeter filter. The second cap is changed to 4uF and the inductor to .15mH. Your networks still have the stock squawker circuit. Never the less, I think you'll be very pleased with the sound, especially compared to what you had. Hey, the price was right, ya think? A pic would still be nice, because layout and asthetics will be the same as what I'm sending out. I should have taken some pictures myself -- I was really happy with the look of them. [H] Here They Are [H]
