Oh I don't know, put enough curry powder in your ketchup and dip your hot Brat in it you might just think you are in Germany

THX Boxx, I always tell everyone the heart attack is in those paper towels underneath If it helps Gary we did have a nice green garden salad with this meal I can't make any excuse for this next shot, nothing better than campfire eggs cooked in the puddle left in this skillet

Ray Samuels Tomahawk Schu http://www.raysamuelsaudio.com/# Here is a better shot of it, I was AB'ing it and my JDS Labs C421 attached to my iPod Touch with Sennheiser PX100 II's -
Seeing Gary's fine and mostly healthy cooking in these here parts I don't want to get flamed after the "Heart Attack Grill" article on the first page of this thread but every once in a while I'll make the oil cooked ventricle stopper but like all things in moderation every once in a while should be OK right? If not I do it anyway, my wife is obsessed with her facebook and post my dinners to her friends all the time and last night was not exception Anyway I know this meal may put Gary off but I at least once a year need to make these just to wash it all back with a nice Pilsner Scotch Eggs with (While the Grease was hot) fried Okra!!!

I'm so Jerrous about everyone who gets to make this trip. I had to bow out early when Steve asked me because of a prior engagement. Was looking forward to meeting and re-visiting others! Was going to bring my Indy's and Jolida probably my whole second rig:-0 LOL No pun intended but Hope everyone attending has a blast;-) -
The Qinpu A3 will drive LaScala's OK but I have moved it to my desktop at my office in favor of the Jolida FX-10. You can look the Jolida up, sweet piece for the price:-)

Man, I guess if I'm going to be anything it may as well be a Corn Snob I admit it, I use the big OXO rubber gripped corn holders and let my corn swim in a pool of "Land O'Lakes" when not in the carriage return mode The handles are so you can keep your fingers fairly dry while removing every kernel from stem to stern on the ear Now don't get me wrong properly prepared fresh veggies are one of the best things about eating as a matter a fact I'm with Dtel on the stripped back raw form of eating it too I like most vegetables in the raw, when we were kids we would peel potatoes and slice in half with a salt shaker in hand and have at it, I loved raw turnips and cabbage as well. Best Regards, Forum Corn Snob

Yes, that should have been my first statement instead of basing my reply on new Project and fixer upper Thoren's and B&O's! I'm sure for $179.00 the U-Turn will do just what he wants

THX Tiger, just got another pair at that bargain price -
Willum24, not to put a damper on CAb3's post I have had extensive experience with both the Debut Carbon and the Rega RP-1. Mind you both tables come with comprable cartridges (Ortofon 2M Red/Ortofon OM5e) but IMHO the Rega RP-1/RB101 arm are considerably better than the Debut/Carbon Arm. I found the plinth on the Debut to be very hollow sounding and vibration prone, likewise the Carbon arm however nice to look at and is very rigid it was kind of light and floppy, having a zero dampening cue did not help either. I happen/ed to run both these tables with the upgrade Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge as you can see in these photo's. Just my $.02, I run both tables thru a Edwards (Talk Audio) Apprentice phono pre which for $151.00 is a steal. For $46.00 bucks more the Rega is once again IMHO a much better table all around.

Tortured example. Most folks, including myself, respond "That smell reminds me of..." If confronted with your suggested response, a REAL objectivist would say "...this man is a fraud" but would want to find how just why he responded as he did. Yeah, I know, I am obfuscating, blah, blah. Not really, just pointing out that you often construct very unlikely scenarios that fit your needs but don't reflect reality. Some pages back...quite a few now...we reached, for a moment, a consensus that the world wasn't made up of objectivists and subjectivists, but of a wide variety of folks who tended one way or the other, maybe one side on one piece of equipment and the other on another. Personally, I do not know of a single person I would classify as 100% one or the other. Dave Tortured example. Most folks, including myself, respond "That smell reminds me of..." Fill it in. If you are trying to make a counter example and don't like mine, you have to fill it in. Reminds you of what?: I like this one Dave Although when it comes to music it's "That song reminds me when" I usually don't sit and listen to music and hear a sound or particular note and go "That sound reminds of/when"! Same applies to visual recollection for me too Music is my favorite hobby because it transports me to other places in time, brings back good and even sometimes bad feelings but without being able to go back to any of them we would miss so much as for me sometimes it takes those reoccurrences to really get what I should have got the first time around
