  1. I think ego superseded financial sense....Just like the music mogul buying that other social media platform. That's my take.
  2. We have Free Speech AND can choose where we get the News. Fwiw, I chose not to join Twitter and I pay more attention to the Newsmakers and not the pundits.
  3. Fwiw, The Heimatdamisch ist Deutsch! 😎
  4. Fwiw, I think this portion of the post has merit...The inflation argument, not so much.
  5. My bad. (Note: I meant LPF on your sub and not HPF in the previous post. 125 Hz or full shouldn't make much difference if you set the crossover in the AVR) I'd leave the LPF on the sub where it is and crossover your RF7s to the sub @ 60 Hz on the AVR.
  6. I'd try setting the crossover on the AVR at 60 Hz and leave the sub's knobs (Low Pass Filter) at 120.
  7. I'd experiment between full range and crossing over to the sub at 60 Hz. Use an SPL meter to see which you like louder or better. Fwiw, I prefer using my subs on 2 channel because they can hit those lower notes cleaner but I don't know how the R-115SW performs in your room.
  8. Along with watching paint dry I have enjoyed watching trains going between German and the Netherlands on this live-cam.
  9. Fwiw, I believe THAT is what could get political... No. As long as one talks only about grooming minors for sex it's not political.
  10. Ha! I think it's ironic that it's an acceptable subject for the Klipsch Forum where others are not. Not short sighted at all, but agree that investigating his suicide in prison would get political. I'll leave it there and let y'all carry on...
  11. it's MUCH MORE than that... the story is not over as yet. To be honest, I don't see how you can discuss this dude without getting political...Regardless, I gather if politics aren't mentioned it's appropriate for the Klipsch Forum. 🤐 Dunno, but I clicked on the thread but not the video because my mind is already made up.
  12. So they did...My next guess is they stopped because the curves on the Home Theater speakers are more jagged with deeper dips hence the term "8 Ohm compatible." Dunno but I love my original RF-7s.
  13. Fwiw, I don't think they've done that on any speaker and consider that inside information. It appears on this thread others have though.
  14. Fwiw, ALOT happened leading up to today and we lived (talked about) some of it on this Forum... That's good to hear given the European Inflation Rate is higher than ours at 9.9%. Germany's @ 10% while Spain's @ 8.9%. Let's hope everyone's starts to go down because it's a global phenomena. That's because Transportation and Healthcare are Government subsidized in Europe.
  15. Fwiw, I still think the clarity and size of the horn, along with compression driver of the RC-7 is where your choices may be lacking. After all, the RC-7 was designed to keep up with RF-7s.
  16. What's interesting is that it can run 4 Ohm speakers all the way around including dual-centers...
  17. Btw, the RC-7 uses Klipsch's tapered-array technology--at what frequency does the other LF driver cutoff?
  18. It seems to me that a subpar center used with the RC-7s would stand out. Afterall, the Center channel is most important in Home Theater...That's my take.
  19. Yep. This! Last year we thought we were approaching our local Newspaper to put an ad on their website, only to find the sales guy worked for a company partnering with the Newspaper to track cellphone movement to the point we could actually target folks who walked in our competitors doors if we wanted to! 😮 It kinda freaked me out but it was more expensive than we wanted to spend but the options were endless. Everything from ads on popular sites, facebook, national magazines, targeting those same people who went to nearby establishments, football games, and yes, competitors...{Note: I originally posted this in a comment on the Internet thread several weeks ago but took it down.}
  20. Yeah. I realize we aren't using the traditional bottles but these had significant meaning. I was taking care of my mom on New Years 2000 and my wife (girlfriend at the time) came to visit and we had those 2 bottles of champagne. Mom died shortly after but happy she made it through the millennium so we had to do something special with them.... On a lighter note, since that time they invented dripless candles which I didn't figure out for about 5 years. 🙄
