  1. Bryan - KILLER looking system. Can only imagine how GREAT it sounds. Yeah it's big heavy cabinets compared to today BUT I bet it can still hold its own with any comparably sized "modern" system. The customer support people at Eminence are wonderful. I bought a singe Nexus Stringray car subwoofer a few years back on an online auction for very littel shipped. Only info on / in the box is optimzed for 0.33 cubic foot sealed enclosure. Made in USA so I figured very good chance it was made by Eminence. It was. They helped me find their model number and then dug up the T/S parameters for me. 8" driver in 0.33 cubic foot box as a sub sounds like it would suck up lots of power and/or not play very deep and would think might have better options. p s. One of my high school classmates older sisters was at burning man. I've connected with her on FB so will ask her how it sounded.
  2. HK430 Owners Manual attached. Can drill down to it from http://www.harmankardon.com/estore/hk/us/support/supportProductSupport.jsp Could not find a service manual but did not look very long after finding the owner's manual HK430_Owners_Manual.pdf

    WTB HK 730

From http://www.harmankardon.com/estore/hk/us/support/supportProductSupport.jsp I could drill down and find HK430 Owner's Manual but did not see a service manaul.
  6. I've created this thread as a repository of Harman Kardon service and owners manuals. Please create a new thread for each new brand. Maybe Amy, Trey, or Alex could create a separate section for manuals. The HK service manuals I have at least I was able to download from HK430 and HK730 links here on the Forum that no longer work. At that time I replaced the model number to get different models including manuals for my AVR84 as I do not have an HKx30 model but may some day. I'll start with the AVR85 manuals and then the HKx30 manuals. One per post as that's all that can be uploaded. AVR85 om.pdf

  9. Tom Adams? Hmmmmm. You make beer or lager? Sell quite a bit if I recall? Good luck with your sale.
  10. Talked to Chuck tonight (uh, last night...). Forum password got hosed up so he's not been able to post for awhile. Can't reset as the reset feature sends to his former work email address. Alex and Amy have been notified by email and will hopefully get his account back in business. I'm sure he'll visit soon. A round on me. Put it on Coytee's tab. [D]
  11. John, You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God's grace comfort you and your family and may He walk beside you during this difficult time. God bless and peace to you. Ben

    What I Got Today!

My new surge suppressor power conditiner with voltage meter / ammeterand gooseneck lamp arrived by Fed Ex Saturday morning. Furman PL-Plus DMC and a goose neck light for the BNC connector on the back.
  14. Forget the caning that's too kind. 3 hours in the chamber of little cube "speakers" blasting Marie Osmond lip synced by Coytee in his best Marie Osmond "couture".
  15. Very nice work. Drool.... no funds as normal but me thinks could use with Heresies I have for mid and highs... and then add the top section. Aweseome deal for somebody. Good luck with your sale. [8][8][8][H][8][8][8]
  16. Junk. Junk is what they are... but being the nice guy I am I'll come take them off your hands up to 300 miles away or meet you half way up to 600 miles away and recycle them into something worthwhile. [] In all serious, what you have is one hell of a good start to 5.0 or 5.1 killer Klipsch surround sound system. For the Cornwall II center it could be improved by getting a LaScala or Belle I'd think or rebuilding the Cornwall as a Cornscala as I think either of those options would match the Khorns better. But I think the Heresy has the same puny midhorn as the Cornwall at least compared to Khorn, LaScala, or Belle, I also think the Heresy was originally designed by PWK as a center channel for 3 speaker stereo. So if the Heresy is good enough for PWK as a center, the Cornwall should be even better between the Khorns with Heresies as surrounds. Or two pair of speakers with Cornwall for possible center use, or mono, or sale / trade. [8][8][8][H][8][8][8]
  17. And Sunburnwilly thought he had let this die.... Dan's Donuts. The kids, young adults, and police and maybe oher start congregating at Dan's at 1 Am for fresh donuts. Tuesday night's supper ... would make a fine snack. Grilled provolone and deli chicken on multigrain bread with parmiagana regiano with pork rinds For lunch Wednesday added leftover marinara made with Indiana's RedGold tomatos ... and more parmagiaa regiano Not pretty but very tasty.
  18. Looks tasty to me Ben . That late night snack thread I started did some damage to my waistline that's why I let it die . http://community.klipsch.com/forums/t/121162.aspx?PageIndex=1 I almost put it there.... even after posting here but it was for normal dinner and lunch. I think the late night snack thread is only hibernating and our youngest daughter and her friend just returned with some Dan's Donuts at 2:15 AM. They open or start at 1:00 AM and kids, young adults, and of course the police wait in line for fresh donuts.... Just polished off my first, strawberry frosted. Pure simple carbs... talk about damge to one's waistline. And followed wiith a chocolate frosted.... and I put the sandwiches and donuts in late night snacks thread... sorry Sunburnwilly, that thread may never die... 2 flippin' donuts and I'm more hungry
  19. Hacker food... but it tastss good. Last night's version looked MUCH better and not a torn up mess and lacked the tomatoes.. This image better and on a non-paper plate. Today's lunch. Pork rinds on the side. Grilled provolone and deli chicken on multi grain bread with freshly grated parmigiana regiano (spelling?) with leftover marinara made from Red Gold tomatoes grown and canned in Indiana. Many fields around here even accross the road but not for a few years. Canned in Elwood Indiana. They also have some high end and/or organic brand(s) thay may be found at Whole Foods and other such establishments. www.redgold.com Turtle cheesecake for desert. Back to the real food. Here's last night's for comparison. A bit blackened but not quite burnt. Too much parmagiana regiano on today's stuck badly. I did add a bit more butter for second side but not enough. Back to the ultra uber gourmet specialties... my cooking belongs more in the late night snack section...
  20. Somebody SCORED some nice Klipschorns. [8][8][8][H][8][8][8]
  21. No pics as forgot to take any but my wife Dawn and our youngest daughter Alea gilled up some turkey breast tostadas with fresh fire roasted corn salsa on the Weber and grilled peach tacos for desert. Very tasty. Stove was out of commission as I had power off working on breaker box. Still not done but put back together with most things completed.
  22. I think in Indy at one of the Pilgrimages I attended they have an old Voigt horn section of one of his tractrix horns?
  23. Fascinating. Thanks for posting. Thanks for all the work Iain in gettying these built. I hope I can hear a pair someday.
