I couldn't resist it. Since we have jumpped back onto the "post count" band wagon, I would first like to say that ones ammount of posts are in no way an indicator as to how much the individual knows about Klipsch, or how reliable buisness wise they may be. Point blank, it simply shows how often they are on the forum and post some thing. The something that they may post may indeed be usefull, but in the case of myself, and to some degree groomlake, most of the time the post are totally useless information, rantings, ravings, sayings, conversations, mindless posting (like groomlakes random and often werid playlists), and debating. The total value of ones quality is not measured in a post count, but in quality and reliablilty. Besides I have only about 200 posts and I myself have rebuilt several Klipsch speakers (Heritage) with groomlake and I have a working knowlage of how and why the things work. With all that being said, POST COUNT (Revisited).

I am an amature at the rock band thing as a whole. LOL. The hard or expert setting is just way too much for me on any insturment, let alone any new device that they may come out with. To be honest, my hard core vidieo game days have past. I am now more functional working with the how to make it connect to the internet, and netwworkly kind of things.

This year was one of the most interesting years to all to my little book. I heavily expect to see the same "interesting" opertunities in the next year.

I wonder what UPS does with claim tickets.....

Groomlake has alerted me, yes I have been known to play the Rock Band games, but I have not got to play the Beetles version yet.

Lies, GROOMLAKE, took some soapy water in a spray bottle and sprayed the grilles, the cat, and anything else within the strike zone. Next the took the grilles and through them into the pool, then the cat, and let them soak for about an hour. After the tempature dropped below 40 degrees F. he removed the grilles and allowed them to dry in front of the return grille on the air conditioner. He placed the cat into the freezer for perservation.

I have not yet seen the movie, but judging by what you have told me it was a really good movie. I was reading that 3d movies that are currently only avaliable at theaters such as Rave, will soon be avaliable in the home theater enviroment within the next year or two. I understand that the only type of media that can support this will be the blueray DVDs. PS. Since we are jumping into Star Trek themed avatars, I thought that I would contribute.

In the add, it mentions that there are no risers. Risers are sent with the speakers from the factory. If they are in the "factory sealed cartons" wouldn't there be risers included? Also there is no mention of a warentee. I'm not saying that he's "not" and authorized dealer, it just seems suspicious to me and I would like just a little clarification before sinking whats left of grandmas estate into a new pair of beautiful, if but expensive new speakers. I have put together and taken apart now quite a few Heresies, (TYPE II). It has been my experience that they are not that difficult, and to be at all honest, most of the work was done with my leatherman tool, so it isnt that hard. If you have any weird trouble, shoot me an email and I will try to help.

I cant say that I have gotten to the TB point yet with files, but I am sure that in about a year and a half, I will have made it there. It is on my mind to puchase an external hard drive with about 2TB for the coming years. Question, which is the the best external hard drive for the money these days?

What kind of A/C unit are you going to put in? I would highly recomend using a split system with electric heating strips installed inside the air handleing unit it self. Option number two is to purchace a heat pump system. These systems use the a/c systems refrigerant and run it backward to bring heat in from the outside, they really dont work very well once you reach below freezing tempatures outside, so there are some down falls of heat pump systems. At anyrate, please let me know, I can offer some really good advice, as HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) is my trade.

I am much in agreement, personally I would say that the speaker is scrap, and purchase some brand new Klipshorns.

Groomlake makes RUS pizza twice a month, beware if you visit him, because he makes his infamous RUS pies on even numbered saturdays.

Give the poor kid a break. I am 23 years old, and by all measure, a "youngin" to most people here. I am probably the last of my kind to remember my mother play LP's on a turntable. In this kids mind, it round, its flat, and contains music data, while lableing a full sized record, a " big compact disk" is kinda extreem, in his mind that is what they are. But if you really want to mess with him, as him for an 8 track of the Beach Boys. I think you could have fun with the kid for hours. LOL

One of the finest songs ever written. New life has be given to it through the vidieo game Guitar Hero Legends of Rock. Many kids most likly would have never appreciated the song if it had not been for that game. Also it is by far one of the most challenging songs on the game.
