  1. shuold work fine but I never tested. more info maybe in Klipsch official website. I'll come up with some photos ASAP Excellent!
  2. Will these work with a Galaxy S3? Also got pics?
  3. Good question. I have had both and in my opinion if you go with something like a KLF SS will make you smile in my experience SS gives more low end grunt while tubes bring more of the soundstage out. I currently have tubes running my Chorus 2's and love it. Having said that I do miss my Mcintosh 2105 with the KLF 20's I once had. Like someone said earlier you really cant go wrong but you MUST try them oth to see which ones you like better. Enjoy the ride.....
  4. Oh and the new Soundgarden is good too!
  5. Sevendust Black ou the sun - Awesome CD I had to listen to it a few times before it sunk in but this is a heavy hitting CD one of my favorites this year, highly recommend you get it if you are a sevendust fan. My favorite tracks are. " " Cold As War " " Decay " " Dark AM " " Picture Perfect " " Got a feeling " " Murder Bar " " Sound City Players Reel to Reel - Very nice analog sound, I even geeked out and watched the movie and how and why the dvd/cd was made. Dave grohl is the man, some very good tunes by a wide diverse group of musicians. Go grab this sucker and give it a listen, my favs are " " Heaven and All " " You Can't Fix This " " From Can to Can't (My fav) " " If i were Me " " Go out and buy these suckers and give them a listen!
  6. Hogfan- if you decide to let them go I would be interested, I live about an hour from Texarkana close to where these were originally made
  7. These still available? Im just down the road in Murfreesboro.
  8. Welcome to the forum and to your new obsession! Moray James is giving you good advice. I went down this same journey, started with a set of cornwalls, then moved to Forte II, then to KLF 20's and lastly to Chorus 2's. in the end it came down to what sounded best in my room and believe me the room makes a difference. It's best to try as many as you can and if you don't like em sell em as they hold there value and its a helluva lot of fun trying different combo's. The 3 you have chosen are all wonderful speakers that you will enjoy for many years, good luck with your journey and most of all have fun!
  9. Good luck in your search. I went through several different klipsch speakers Cornwall 1, KLF 20's, Forte 2 and Chorus 2. In the end the Chorus 2 won but the Forte 2 was close to sealing the deal, man these Chorus 2's just jam. I have never heard quartets but hear nothing but good things from reviewers. Again good luck in your journey!
  10. DROOOOOOLLLLLLLL! Enjoy your new babies I'm sure they will bring you years of smiles.
  11. Yep I have one and I like it. I only wish you had the option to use batteries that is my only complaint.
  12. Is that a Marshall half stack there to the right, what amp are you using. I remember my buddies full stack in high school with a JCM1000(I think) Man that thing was loud. Why yes it is thats a 1960a cab and the head is a Lead 100 mosfet which is solid state but sounds just like a JCM 800.
  13. The setup looks good, especially against the color of your walls. Well done. Thanks Boxx! Sure wish I had room for K horns!
  14. I use Spotify daily paid premium member here. I love the service and rarely listen to my 25k plus itunes library anymore. I have a Peach pre amp which does not have a remote how do I overcome this? I simply turn my volume knob to 10 o'clock fire up the spotify app on my ipad, air play it to my apple tv and use the vloume control from the ipad to adjust as necessary. Spotify sounds great on my system and I love the selection and flexibility it offers the ability to download playlist is great!!!! I tried MOG a few days ago and liked what I heard they didn't have some of the new releases yet. I only got a days worth of free music and it cut me off. I would demo both services and go from there.
  15. Was playing around today and disconnected every source but the Apple TV...guess you could say I've gone fully digital! It really cleaned up my TV stand lol!
  16. I may have to give this a try I love Spotify but at 320k this may put Spotify to shame. Is anyone streaming this from an ipad via apple tv?
  17. I second this suggestion, I've tried most other internet streaming services and this is my favorite. I rarely listen to my personal itunes library anymore. I tried the free version and decided to upgrade to the premium version, love how you can download a playlist and listen to it in offline mode. Oh and the quality of the music seems to be very good not sure what the bit rate is.
  18. Daddy Dee/Tubes N Horns---- thanks for the help I was able to pull the tubes out with no problem! Turns out the peach is just fine I should have done more troubleshooting! When I started having this problem I tested two sources my dvd player and my apple tv both of which are hooked to my DAC both of which had the same problem no right channel. So the problem was that the darn right RCA cable on the back of the DAC had come off how this happened I have no clue plugged the right rca back in and BINGO back in business! I learned a few things from this experience 1. Buy a backup pair of tubes just incase, 2. Check ALL connections not just the speaker connections, 3. Be gentle when handling tubes. Thanks again for the help guys I appreciate it! Now where was that beer.........
  19. Can anyone tell me how to remove the tubes they seem to be help in by these plastic pieces but I can't figure out how to remove them.
  20. TUBES!!! How the heck are ya good to see you are still around! I will try that but have a question....imagine that lol. The tubes have some kind of white plastic thing around them I'm assuming this has to come off before you can remove the tubes? I tried rocking them back and forth while gently pulling but they will not budge.
