Another option for 2" mid driver is the BMS 4592 mid. Leaves the K55 in the dust IMO. As far as 1" goes K55 is a great driver but Bob sells a replacement that is smidge better at least on paper. I think it's called the A55G. Have fun. Oh and Welcome to the forum.

Don't water your lawn? If I don't it will be dead in less than a week, this is an irrigated desert. That said we only have about 1000 to 1100 sq ft of lawn. Just enough to pull our cars off the cement and onto the grass for car washing. Don't get me wrong I like grass but paying for the water to keep it up is another thing.

Yes I think a lot of us do as you have found out. I just wanted to make an electrically(or electronically) obvious observation. And reiterate it and emphasize it. You cannot get something for nothing. No one has invented a perpetual motion machine. If a receiver(or amp) consumes 100W of input power the maximum you can get out of it is 100W. And that assumes 100% efficiency.
