What makes you say that? There is no safety ground. If you are going to use one(or worse yet make one DIY) be sure all the outlets have GFI. Most people have unbalanced audio equipment and connect it with unbalanced interfaces. The addition of a balanced power system in these cases will be negligible IMO and not worth the expense and safety concerns.

I'll let you in on a secret. For every current public employee making say $50K a year there is another retired used to be public employee making $50K. So for each public employee Joe taxpayer is paying double for their service. This is only going to get worse.
