  1. Wow Youthman thank you so much!......Forte IIs are my fronts to answer your question....I know, I know....mismatched but the RC 52II actually sounded great with the Fortes. Like I said, just a bit small. I just like the combination, kinda' like Heritage with a pinch of Reference, the perfect match....FOR ME
  2. Got a RC 52II for my parent for Christmas, and before I gave it to them I played it in my system for a week. It sounded great, just a bit small for my system. Now that it's gone, I want the bigger brother. Any help would be glorious!!!.....This is off topic but I don't think I've ever typed the word glorious before?.....Mmmm GLORIOUS help needed!! ......Ok thats a bit creepy
  3. You really are quite strange Moray...... ..That's a compliment by the way ......To the OP Dougie, I have Forte 2s that are 21inches off the ground with the mid horn right at my ear level when I'm sitting.
  4. Wow that took awhile, good to see you found one though Speakerfritz .......Can we hope for an interesting cornscala project thread?
  5. Thats one good thing about all the turbo engines coming out, with a simple tune they can get great results for the money. Wuzzer are they supplying a device to change tunes on the go, or can you do it yourself with a smart phone or laptop??......Low 4's, nice!! Are there any tracks around t test at..
  6. Again Schu nice photos.. ...Jupiter capacitors, what a great name.....Now I'm hungry for new X-overs. With that review and those good pics, my tiny crossovers look very dated and need to be refreshed at the very least.
  7. Those look very nice Schu......Nice photos also.. .... From the perspective of the last picture, they look to have tiny LaScalas strapped on them..
  8. Sorry to hear about your friend Dtel.........Great Photos though Lady and Gents!!!!.......My family used to own film developing stores in the West Palm Beach, FL area when I was growing up....Smith Brothers Film Drop...We sold all the stores around 2001 when the digital age started to take over..... So I have always enjoyed photography....I'm actually in the process of getting a new camera as we speak. So no pics from me, it's all been video for me for the last 15 years at least.
  9. So cool to see this!!....Thanks Mighty Favog, I have been listening to Wendy Carlos since I bought her/his score to TRON more than 20 years ago. She also scored A Clockwork Orange and The Shining.
  10. I do like the fact that you've owned the car for 4 days and already know, by researching the SHO forums who the best people are to upgrade it......"Must go faster"!!!!
  11. I'm interested if your somewhat close.....What town are you in or near??
  12. 540 Merlin with an 8-71.....@#!$%!!!... Nice Truck!!...I don't think I could put that engine in a Kustom like that......Although I bet it does really good burnouts, like, award winning! ......Thats not going to Australia is it? Haha..
  13. That thing is nice Schu!....
  14. I've seen 200$ to 350$ for the 4.5's on eBay and Craigslist. Whether they sold at those prices, not sure, but I've seen those prices and they seem to be good prices to sell in my opinion. I don't think I could let my 4.2's go for anything less than 250$....125$ for each speaker...mmmm...that still might be to low...I'm very attached, they were my first Klipsch!! For 140$, nice find R.Nuggets!!......How good do they sound for the money????......Definitely a good deal to me....I have 4.2's and 140$ for those is a deal...
  15. These are part of an art installation by artist Tom Sachs.....
  16. Dtel......It's a remote control car with legs, not really, but come on man it's not going to bite'ya!!.....It could be worse=
  17. I received the speaker yesterday, was dropped off at about 7:00pm.....Paid Clint as soon as I got home.....Posted some unboxing pics in the "What I got today" thread....Actually here are some of them.....
  18. Thanks Thanks Boxx I'll tell you guys the Ti tweeter in the RC-52II puts my Forte II's to shame.......Even for this small a speaker I can hear I need new crossovers and new diaphragms for tweeters and Mids....The little RC is very lively compared to the Forte's. It reproduces the sound of the smaller instruments in an orchestra; Flute, Violin, Oboe with a lot more passion than the Forte's.....The Forte II's definitely have more body, but lack the detail, by quite a margin, it's actually a little depressing. It's the newest speaker by almost 20 years I've ever had in my system........Dear Santa...When you drop off gifts to Bob Crites' new grandchildren, can you pick a few things up for me......Thanks Babe ....That looks delicious Justin.....MMmmm so hungary right now......Beam me over some Chicken Carbonara, Beam it to me man!
  19. My first Reference X-perience......RC-52II...From Clint195... ....YEAHH ....It's in PERFECT condition......YEAAHH!! .....Let's hook it up....
  20. We have Ironed everything out in Pay-Pal and the speaker is on it's way.......It's a RC-52II I'm giving to my parents to try and get their TV system up to snuff.......I'm just upset because it's being flanked by a set of Polk monitor 70's I bought them years ago....So I still have some work to do..
  21. That spider is cool....That video is on a Youtube channel called TESTED, which is part of Mythbusters on YouTube........ They have a bunch of great videos on that channel. I've been subscribed for awhile.
  22. I always try to keep a lookout when typing a pin or using my card......But I think anybody reading this will be a little more vigilant and careful this season......Sorry for your hardships guys....But thanks for the heads up....Those F#$@ers.
