the mouth of the horn seems quite longer than a K400

I wonder if the Wood horn of the midrange driver is simply too long or the driver is placed too much rearwards of the horn - advance the midrange driver would be my 1st test - does it get better ? - yes , then alter the tweeter positioning above the mids horn , and center both drivers , is it better yet ? then look for a sweet spot --and raise the top hat higher by 1 inch -

you can put a 1/2 inch thick section of sound insulation foam around the woofer -------such as in the Heresy III , and that is all that is needed in the Heresy 1 --basically . this separates the bass frequencies from bouncing on the mids horn and the tweeter horn -

no argument , it's a true Heresy , to stuff a klipsch Heresy like a Chicken -I think PWK would have wanted that beautiful drivers and horns be visible to the eye

Portland is also as western as can be , so high on shipping costs ---I would not ship these unless they have the boxes , buyer must be local for these beautiful speakers , one can see these were cared for by the owner -

looking real good -- in great shape --no damages to the cabinets ---and about 1/2 the price of new AL5 speakers -too far away for this guy -
