  1. Right, I should have said asking instead of selling, but still the serial number has got me stumped!
  2. Just saw a klipschorn that looked pretty old on eBay selling for 15,000 bucks! Nice condition but 2 D 121 for a serial number, I couldn’t find a listing for that serial number but it looks authentic. Maybe built late ‘50’s to early’60’s?
  3. Thanks, I’ll be getting a pair for my Cornscala’s pronto! I suppose if I ever get a pair of Klipschorn’s the DE 10-8’s would work out fine also?
  4. How have you found those B&C DE 10-8 tweeter drivers? I’ve heard mostly good things about them myself.
  5. I would grab them too, if it wasn’t so far.
  6. Boy oh boy do I hate these scams!
  7. Just received a Beyerdynamic DT990 250 ohm headphone and am impressed! Needs 100 hours to break in I read but sounds great right out of the box.
  8. Doing some research I found the above question to be I would say a loaded question. Open back, closed back, 80 ohm or 250 ohm, the choices go on and on. Years ago you’d just get any headphone and it would pretty much work. I had an 1140 Dokorder with Koss pro 4aa and it worked fine. Now I’m trying to get the right phones to listen on my Bluesound Vault 2. I found the Beyerdynamic 770 with 250 ohms might fit the bill. But I will be listening in a fairly quiet room so maybe open back instead of closed back would be better? Steve
  9. Oh, what would you suggest as I’m looking for a really good pair in the $75-$160 range, you know, the ones that are 90% as good as the ones for $999……………………I’m not a man of means. (Retired).
  10. I’m in the market for them. Not a fan of ear buds.
  11. Hammurabi Hellmates, the best sound for 1400 BCE!
  12. Probably smell interesting too.
