  1. Also known as Sound Distributors as well. I believe they are Klipsch's largest retailer. Many on this forum go to those guys first if you are looking to buy new. Great to deal with and they often offer better prices if you give them a call.
  2. Very True, I made this mistake in one of my very first post on this forum.
  3. Thanks, I ended up going another route. Appreciate the thought.
  4. Love the Ultimax lineup I deploy a 12". Those look awesome.
  5. Congrats on the 'new' Vizio. What does local dimming do? Very clean behind the shelves. How do the vertical pieces on the wall attach to your center and shelving? I like the pine look. Great setup. Local dimming can dim the area of the screen that needs it, while keeping the bright parts of the screen bright. This technology can really increase the contrast ratio to make a better image. This particular TV has 32 LED arrays or areas that can be shut off completely. This really improves black levels. Vizio is the only company that offers mid-level TVs with that feature on their LEDs. You have to look at high end Samsung and Sony's the find the technology anymore these days. It's all about mid-level 4K TVS with crappy black levels and horrible motion blur. And I just can't stomach shelling out $3k-$4k for a TV to get all the bells and whistles. Thank you, I still need to hide the cords running from the Xbox ONE, it's like nails on a chalkboard for me looking at the pictures, but overall I was very pleased with the results. This is what I used for mounting the Pine shelves. Just your everyday adjustable wall shelving system. The center speaker isn't actually mounted to it, it just appears that way. The center is just mounted using the factory flush wall mount that comes with the unit. All in all, the lumber and hardware set me back about $40.
  6. New to me Vizio M652i-B2 for my new space. Found it locally on craigslist, 9 months old like new with original box and accessories. Very happy with how it turned out. It is the 2014 M-Series so it doesn't have 4K, which is fine with me. I'm actually surprised with the PQ, deeper blacks than my 50" plasma. The local dimming feature is a must have on a LED IMO.
  7. Cherry RS-41? Didn't even know there was such a thing
  8. PM if you have a set you are willing to get rid of and safely ship to 46530. Thanks!

  10. Just came through my inbox... http://www.klipsch.com/products/r6-in-ear-bluetooth-headphones?utm_source=Shopatron+Email+Marketing&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Image+-+All-New+R6+Bluetooth+Headphones&utm_content=Klipsch+Cuts+the+Cord+%7C+New+Wireless+Headphones+%2B+Holiday+Savings&utm_campaign=R6+Bluetooth+Launch+%2B+Holiday+Sales
  11. I would appreciate someone from Klipsch chiming in on these. Thanks!
  12. I just jumped on a pair of Dre Powerbeats 2 Wireless for the gym for $99 yesterday on Amazon. I always look to Klipsch products first but didn't think they had an offering in this genre. The A5s were the only workout headphones I thought they had but they are wired. Then I was perusing Best Buys app and stumbled upon these http://www.bestbuy.com//site/klipsch-r6-wireless-earbud-headphones-black/4493901.p?id=1219754431697&skuId=4493901 Weird thing is I've searched and they are mentioned nowhere on Klipsch's website or any other sites. Are these a new release or a Best Buy exclusive or something? Any info? I would have been willing to pay the extra $50 for a Klipsch set had I known.
  13. I know Best Buy sells the wannabe Reference Line speaker models for half off on Black Friday. Are those speakers decent? I'm looking to purchase a set of speakers for my 5.1 system for under $1000 and these would fit just in there with the black friday deal. They are decent for half off if you want to buy new. I would never pay close to full price for them but those speakers at half off are a good deal IMO. If it were my money I would probably try and find something on the used market for an older reference series close to the same price but better sound quality.
  14. The Klipsch Gig is what I use and really like it. It is under $100 on multiple sites now as well
  15. No Tv expert but I did alot of research and picked this Tv a couple of months ago, It's a Vizio 65", our last Tv lasted 10+ years so all this new technology was new to me. No problems so far and it has a great picture and has everything much more expensive models have. Good luck http://www.bestbuy.com/site/vizio-m-series-65-class-65-diag--led-2160p-smart-4k-ultra-hd-tv-black/3858039.p?id=1219606085774&skuId=3858039 That Vizio 65" 4k is going to be $999 at Sam's and Best Buy on Black Friday and is the model I'm interested in. I'm considering that or the 70" but haven't seen any advertised deals on the 70" model.
  16. I'm looking to pick up a projector system. What model number is the Sony? Coincidentally I was already planning on the 100" Elite Screen from Amazon.
  17. Best Buy has done this the last several years for the Klipsch models they carry. It actually makes this line fairly attractive and a good buy at that price point if you are on a budget and want to buy new.
  18. I'm tempted to pull the trigger on a new TV this year. My Plasma is 5-6 years old and the PQ is still great, however I'd like to step up to a 65-70 inch. I've been doing a lot of browsing the last week or two. Intrigued tby the LG OLEDs but the only one in $2k or less is the 55" and I would really like to have a larger screen that that. I purchased a Samsung 55" Curved LED 4k about 6 months ago and returned it 3 days later. IMO the PQ wasn't up to snuff with my plasma and the motion blur really pissed me off. Kind of torn on what to go with. I've purchased nothing but Samsung's in the past but I'm a little intrigued with some of VIZIO's price offerings. I've seen multiple Black Friday ads where they will be offering their 65" 4K for $999.
  19. I know Best Buy sells the wannabe Reference Line speaker models for half off on Black Friday.
  20. Yea I bought mine for $298 at Sams in April 2014 which was half off at the time and thought that was a steal. In the right application this is really a great soundbase. It's fits perfectly on my dresser in the bedroom with 40" LCD sitting on top.
  21. Great deal on this unit. I have one and I really like it in the bedroom. https://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-hd-theater-sb-120-tv-sound-system-with-bluetooth
