  1. Nah there staying right where they are. Room is a tad under 2000 cu ft. The sub is a SB13 Ultra. The 7's sound amazing.
  2. I have never picked up on lyrics but my wife will sing the entire song word for word
  3. This should tell you everything you need to know without actually hearing them. https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/125630-rf-7ii-owners-thread/
  4. Listen to these guys on here they know what their talking about. I remember Scrappy telling me to get nothing less than the RF62II package. Well I didn't listen and went with RF52II's, RC52II, RB51II's. Six months later I bought the RF62II's, RC62II, RS62II's. That was a huge upgrade from the 5.25 inch drivers. Although I knew at this point in time I still wanted more so again I sold my RC62II and got a RC64II. Then sold RF62II's and went with the 7II's. I sure could've saved time and money if I just would've listened. Story of my life I always learned things the hard way lol. Oh well loving my setup now. Hopefully this setup will curb my appetite for the next 2-3 yrs.
  5. I agree 100%. For movies 5.1 when I want to jam music its the 7II's and the sub only.
  6. I owned Sony's back in the 80's and Yamaha's in the 90's. I've owned two different Denons in the last 5 yrs. They all were good AVR's. One thing that stood out from my experience was Yamaha's would go into protection mode alot. They are great sounding AVR's but in my experience they just lacked in the power department. After I sold my last Yamaha I bought Denon. I was running the exact same speakers (older Synergy 5.1 setup). Not once did my Denon 791 go into protection mode nor has my current 3312 model. To me that says alot about Denon amps compared to Yamaha. I listen to music at reference quite a bit. Just my experience for what it's worth.
  7. Nice price!! Shouldn't last long. GLWS
  8. The lady next door is really gonna love you now with dual 18's.
  9. I agree you do have some bad luck. Nice speakers though. They are huge compared to the 62's.
  10. Beautiful bookshelves and a great price to boot. GLWS!
  11. Oh there is too many to list. Lone Survivor (war). The Conjuring (horror). Oblivion and Ender's Game (sci-fi). Avatar (sci-fi). Monsters University (kids). 310 to Yuma (western). Jack the Giant Slayer (adventure). Both Percy Jackson films (adventure). Lord of the RIngs (adventure). Rush (racing sport). Just a few that stand out for me.
  12. 4520! I was surprised it does 175 watts p/ch running two channels. As well as 122 watts with 5 channels. I thought about an external amp now that I have my 7's but I'm a big fan of Denon and the 4520 has sparked my interest lately. Heres the bench figures. http://www.soundandvision.com/content/denon-avr-4520ci-av-receiver-test-bench
  13. I never knew the Synergy line had cherry. Those are very nice indeed. Nice system!
  14. Those are sick looking! 42 lbs each wow! You selling the 62II's then?
  15. Klipsch needs to upgrade their new line up on their website especially if they are already available at Best Buy.
  16. When I turn on the system my daughters usually both come out and sit with me and I will compromise by playing some of their requests. They are 13 and 10. They are very much into music although most is not my taste. They do like some of mine and have asked if I can download it to their MP3's etc....its funny though they will stay in the room when I'm listening at 90-95db's and often times tell me to turn it up more hee hee. Their is hope for the younger generation to appreciate nice systems and the quality of which they hear it.
  17. Hey Scrap are you gonna DIY cylinder style?
  18. I told you you would love them . They blow the doors off those rf62. Sub or no sub its monster upgrade. Yep the 7II's and the Ultra sub were by far the biggest upgrades for me. As far as comparing them to the 62's well that's kinda like comparing the 7II's to your 904's.
  19. Damn I love these 7II's. They just keep on impressing me. I use to listen to music in 5.1 Dolby PLII but now I like 2 channel Stereo with the sub running as well. I also can tell the extra 50 watts in 2 channel helps a bit. Denon isn't struggling as much when pushing them. I'm really curious now what 200 watts per channel would do. Yep I'm thinking I need an amp to get the best out of them.
  20. Coleman

    Dobly Atmos

Ryan you don't need any more speakers! You already have a King Kong system.
  21. Yep there is no way in h3ll I'm getting rid of the 7II's whatever the upper new line of Klipsch looks and sounds like. More than likely they won't be going anywhere for a long long time.
  22. Yep its Icons with gold drivers. I'm sure they sound good but why not design from the ground up with a whole new idea? Fail IMO
