  1. Guys, I'm hoping you can help me with suggestions on how to tackle a bad null in my room. When seated on the right hand side of my couch, there is a sensation that there is no sound coming from the left surround speakers. My wife says that she actually feels an uncomfortable pressure on her ear drum. What is the best way to fix a null like this?

I'm talking about his original music, style, talent, etc. Too many of today's artists are generic.
  4. I think the Reference Premier line represents the sweet spot for Klipsch in terms of sales volume and profitability. IMO, they would only replace the RF-7ii's if they needed a "halo" product to generate interest in the Reference Premeir line. I think Klipsch is using the Heritage line as their "halo" line to connect consumers with the Klipsch lineage. I just don't see them developing another low volume Reference line speaker to compete with the Heritage line.
  5. I doubt they'll make something like the 7ii's again.

    RIP Prince

He was unique in every way.
  7. I think Emotiva will have a problem selling their 7 channel XPA Gen3 for $1,900 when one of these can be had for $1,500.
  8. How much complaining did it take to instigate this new rule? This is important so we know how much complaining will be needed to get it reversed.
  9. Looks like a bargain. I wonder if ATI builds them.
  10. How high are your ceilings and how far back will you sit from your speakers? These would be factors in how well the RP-280FA's would perform against the in-ceiling models.
  11. It's probably just an equalizer that bumps up the vocal frequency range.
  12. Call Acoustic Sound Design and talk to Mike. You need to call in order to get their best price. Edit: Just to be clear, I have no affiliation with ASD.
  13. In regards to this question, I expect that the in-ceiling versions have a different dispersion pattern than the in-wall just based upon the horn profile. I think you'd want a wider dispersion pattern for the ceiling application.
  14. Where are you ordering from? You should be able to get either version for half off the list price.
  15. The in-ceiling models woofer and tweeter can be tilted to point at the listening position. The in-wall models are fixed as far as i know. The in-ceiling versions would also need a smaller drywall cutout than the in-walls. I would recommend going with the in-ceiling versions.
  16. I think he was the first one who friended me too.
  17. The longer you research, the more you'll realize that Scrappy is right. Do you really have the in-wall "r" series speakers on your ceiling or is that a typo?
  18. I played with the mirroring function a bit last night, but wasn't too impressed with the picture quality. Seems like the resolution isn't good enough when the image is enlarged to a 60" tv.
  19. You'll need to let your AVR decode the audio if you want the ATMOS mix. Make sure you have the audio out set to bitstream.
  20. That's something there. I've never tried to stream from my iPad to the theater. I'll need to test it out and see how it looks.
  21. I was just handed one to play with, but I don't even know what i would use it for that I don't already get through DirecTV and Netflix. Anyone use one of these and know what they're good for?
  22. The tops do tend to get a little scratched when you place them upside down on the bare floor.
