  1. Could also be wires come loose on inside of the speaker. Out of phase speakers.....could be a lot of stuff need more info to help you.
  2. The banana jacks are not the connecting bars. The bars are under the jacks and they are held tight by them but they come loose.
  3. Have you checked to make sure the jumper bars are tight??? I know it sounds crazy but I have seen many that were loose. Its the first thing I check now when going to help friends. With all those models you should be anything but DULL ….maybe set the levels manually.... I had to do that that because auto set up sounded like crap. I have an Integra AVR which allows you to do tone and volume manually which I dont think Denon does.

  7. I would just use furniture GRIPPERS on the bottom. Be sure to use foam seal on the bass bin corners and horizontal part of bass bin. I got some pool noodles the other day on sale and they seem to hold up better than the pipe foam I used before. OH I see you already got some foam on there...lol
  8. Since they are 71s you should check air tightness. My 72s had air leaks I fixed by pouring glue into areas where I heard the leaks. You have to seal the woofer port and then put woofer access door back on except for the one screw that goes into the air chamber. Then put low air pressure in there to hear the leaks The old glue is cracking and leaking air.
  9. I did caps in my Heresy 1s and also put seal on the back panel as well as putting a layer of ply on the inside of the panel to stiffen it up. Sounds much better now. The Heresy 1s could use a refresh not sure about the 2s they are probably ok. You can also put a titanium diaphragm from Bob in them I think. But I cant afford them.
  10. From the looks of them thats a good price. All prices are going up. Call Cory he may have some new ones B stock at discount.
  11. Those Corns should stomp all over those jbl's. I bet polarity is wrong.....jumper tabs on inputs are loose….someone may have messed with internal wiring....hook a 70s HK 430,,,630 ...730 to them...….put furniture grippers on bottom of the Corns.....9 watts is low but should be better with more.....check all of the above first.

  16. if your looking for new I would call Cory and check out parasound. 17. If your selling them after I would stick with walnut....cherry.....hickory might sell good also. I like oak but oak does not usually sell well. I tried to find oak K-horns for ever an gave up.
  18. Sorry not interested thought that was a pair,,,,,
  19. if you sell your Scalas you will be sorry just like a lot of people here have already found out to late....lol. The Forte III is a good speaker but no way will it keep up with a LaScala. If your buying call Cory first he has B stock at discount usually.
  20. Yours looks like you changed to type A I dont think Type A uses that little inductor.
  21. Looks good bet it sounds a lot better. I did same thing years ago also changed to crites tweet and 4500HZ type crossover. If you got the Belles on hardwood I would suggest furniture grippers for the bottom of them. You could also change out that old inductor it not a lot of cost for new one. I used O-Rings for my mid-range seals because I could see the edge of washer protruding into the horn path. Do the new ones do that? I would tighten up all mounting screws and replace seal on woofer bin if not done already. I also painted the outside and inside of my mid horn with rustoleom enamel after sanding all the seams best I could.
  22. looks great Cory. Best of luck, I try to send everyone I meet to you.
  23. Probably;y have to send to Bob Crites so he can fix it right. next time take pics.
  24. YUCK... I wonder what the trim is put on with??? Good buy if you could get it off with out messing it up to bad. Hope they used hot glue.
