  1. My wife and daughters just spent 15 days at her Dad's home in New Braunfels, is that close to you? A lot of cool history around that area. I remember the Gristmill when I was there 6 years ago.
  2. Jim, I hope you heal up quickly. Have you been able to do any fishing? I remember you being a fisherman. That could be a relaxing activity if you can get out and about….Bill

Look. Just cause I got fired off that job doesn't mean I wasn't doing good work. What can I say. I got distracted by a pair of Twins. Didn't Noah have twin daughters
  4. Guitar pick from Rick Nielson, he had a way of flicking them across the stage, pretty amazing. Drum stick from Edwin McCains drummer. I did party with Van Halen before they were famous. I was 15 and their first album just came out. My buddy owned a record store. They were promoting their album, my buddy had a keg in his storeroom.
  5. The first time i met Brian May, when i came home I picked up a guitar to see if i could play better after shaking his hand….I still sounded like me. That's awesome that you met so many band members. Brian is definitely rock royalty. Just curious…did you meet these bands because of your job?
  6. That is so sad. The worst part is all of the victims were quality individuals. Why can't these wackos shoot the low-lifes.

The Chevy Chase skits with him falling always make me laugh. Physical humor can be hilarious with a word being spoken.
  8. I saw them 4 times, all in the late 70s, early 80s. Once about 6 rows back, center stage. I commented on your Best Performance thread about them playing Tie Your Mother Down, it was absolutely magical!! They are just seemed so in tune with each other. I liked the fact that the whole band knew Freddie was the star of the concert, and he would rock the whole show. I have a few of their live DVDs, and watch them a few times a year.
  9. I heard a lot of people didn't like this movie, I thought it was excellent….great human story. I guess people need the special effects these days.

Didn't you work on the Arc?
  11. Then add Queen to mine Post that again and i’ll like it again. Queen should've been in my top five anyway. Maybe the greatest band ever!

I'm 52, my wife is 11 years younger. I don't think I look my age, I certainly don't feel it. I told her the average male dies 6 years before the female, so she'll have 17 years of life after I'm gone I asked her if she would re-marry, she didn't like that question!
  13. Then add Queen to mine
  14. Leonard will receive between 49-1500 years in prison, so he will never be free again. Sentencing will be Aug 4th.
  15. Jimmy nods in approval, and Plant has a tear in his eye! I'd say they were moved by that rendition. Ann Wilson can still crank out the vocals. I still have that on my DVR from 2 years ago….great performance. One of my best concert moments was Queen, around 1982, center stage, about the 6th row. They played Tie Your Mother Down, they were all in tune and they sounded incredible!!!
  16. Hopefully they will take care of this quickly.
  17. At first I thought this was an invitation to your house to hear your system

    RTM CONTESTS

Hiding in plain sight too. That's usually the best place to hide.
  19. Bob Leonard's trial begins in January in Allen County. I haven't heard about the other trials, I assume they will be after Bob Leonard's trial.
  20. Welcome John. Nice speakers, but people will want to see the finish on the cabinets….we love photos…glws
  21. The other trials will start in the next few weeks. Shirley has a deal with the prosecutors for her testimony against the others. They haven't said much about the terms, I'm not sure if she's even in jail still.
  22. The Texan says "remember the Alamo and throws out the Mexican"
