I have a single forte II passive radiator which was reconed by Midwest Speakers in Minnesota if you are interested.

I believe the rp450c is a little older than your rp6000f speakers, so technically the voicing might be a little different, but I honestly think you'll be fine and enjoy the setup.

It sounds like your receiver needs to have the potentiometers deoxed (volume, balance, bass, treble, and midrange knobs). What other information are you looking for?

Looks like you have a pair of heresy II speakers from 1985 in an oak lacquer finish.

I agree with this. I think a lot of people disregard him because of his beliefs in cables mattering

It's tough to set a price. La Scalas if that era are worth typically $1500-3000 depending on condition. The rosewood veneer is a nice touch of custom. If it was done well, it can definitely add value. Rosewood is definitely a nice and classy way to go. But someone could argue that not original can take away from the value like a aftermarket customizations on a car or motorcycle. Are these from the father/son team that customize Klipsch speakers? Their prices tend to be a couple of grand over stock value prices normally.

Just curious if anyone hear has much experience with some PS Audio gear with Klipsch speakers. I was told from a dealer that the PS Audio preamp and amp combos are very detailed with comes across as overly bright with Klipsch speakers. Their BHK product lines look very nice and their Stellar phono preamp has very good reviews, especially over Parasound which is a brand I like a lot. The biggest products I find intriguing is their Power Regenerators. I watch a lot of the videos on PS Audio's YouTube channel and I have learned a lot of information about audio gear. Obviously they are going to push their own products in that type of marketing. Anyone hear using any Power Regenerators? Is it worth it for mid-level systems, or only really benefitial for extremly higher end systems? I am currently running a Parasound P6 preamp with a Parasound A23 amp. I am just using the built-in phono preamp on the Parasound P6 for now, I have never tried an external phono preamp. Thanks for any help.

Single or double MWM, the footprint is still the same, and I don't have that kind of space Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

unfortunately no, because I don't have the space for 2 MWM bass bins. If i could come across a pair of Jubes, I would be rearranging my basement to have a place for them.

I know this is a long shot, but I am looking for a pair of Jubilees. I am in Massachusetts. Thank you

Can I date my Cornwalls by serial number?
dtr20 replied to Naptown Rob's topic in Technical/Restorations
Are you certain the serial number is 155073? I would expect it to be 15S073 which would make the year 1978. -
More than likely the tweeter died rather than the crossover. Carefully swap the tweeters from the speakers and listen to them. If the problem followed the tweeter, the tweeter is bad. If the problem stayed in the speaker, the the crossover has an issue. If it's the crossover, recapping should fix the issue. If it's the tweeter, I'd recommend buying a pair of titanium tweeter diaphragms from Crites Speakers and replacing both tweeter diaphragms. This should result in better sound quality.

Congrats, great speakers. The S in the serial number means they were made in 1978. Listen to them and enjoy. They only thing I would recommend as far as changing is at some point to replace the capacitors on the crossover.

Chorus II (1990): Midrange Horn that can be used with A55G/2?
dtr20 replied to StevePaul's topic in Technical/Restorations
I am running the original A55G midrange in my chorus II speakers. Bob Crites told me the stock crossover was fine for the driver. I bought an adapter to mount the A55G to the stock horn, but I am now using the midrange horns from the forte III and these A55G drivers thread right in. -
