  1. So...anyone here get these?
  2. You know, this might not be a bad option. Its not a soundbar necessarily but it has a built in sub and LCR: http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-ats1200-home-theater-31-channel-digital-audio-tv-sound-stand-with-srs-surroun--185-3100?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=pla That's cool, I will pass it onSent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  3. So my friend is backing out of surround sound. She is thinking about a sound bar now. Can you recommend a decent sound bar for $250 ish
  4. Yea my wife keeps threatening me that she is going to join this forum to keep me in check. Nooooooooooooooo!
  5. He never replied to me either, but he did stop using the word klipsch. Now if we could get him tho STOP USING klipsch pictures
  6. http://www.ebay.com/itm/331896530810 Not sure what's wrong with it

  8. Is it similar to the difference between the stock klf-series tweeter diaphragms and the Crites titanium tweeter diaphragms? I absolutely love the upgraded tweeter diaphragms in my klf speakers. I'm trying to decide to upgrade or not. For $200+, I need to know what to expect before purchasing. It's not like the $50 titanium upgrade which was well worth the gamble, not to much risk. Thanks
  9. This is a someone make an offer bump
  10. Post 24. Buy that microphone, do a sweep in REW, get a graph like I posted. If you truly want to test only your sub and not your room, you'll have to take it outside, but that's another conversation. I checked out that site and they only have discounted mics for sale right now. Should I buy a discounted one? If so, which one? http://cross-spectrum.com/measurement/calibrated_umik.html
  11. I couldn't find a topic like this so I figured I would start one. My favorite atmos disc is Roger Waters: The Wall. The opening song has planes fly right over your head and sounds amazing. There are other songs which incorporate very good atmos, but I can't think of them. Whenever I demo atmos for someone, I go straight for this scene.
  12. Ok so I'm back to my original question. How do I check how low my subwoofer goes. I keep reading on how you advanced subwoofer guys are getting into the teens hz when you are done building your custom subs. Are you just assuming that is the frequency you are outputting based on the subwoofer calculator that you guys use, or are you confirming your actual frequency output?
  13. So I hooked up my laptop directly to my definitive technology 18 sub. Using the test tone websites, I got movement on the sub all the way down to 8 hz (barely). So I'm not sure if the onboard sound card doesn't work properly, or this is normal. Volume is louder between 15-20 hz.
  14. I have a pair of light oak kg5.5, but in located in Massachusetts. I'm guessing you don't want to travel that far
  15. I absolutely love my belles. But since this is an upgrade product and I don't understand all of those charts that were posted, I'm just trying to figure out what these do over the stock tweeters. I took a guess on the brightness.
  16. Is there anybody in the New England area on this forum? These klf30's are great. The wife wants them out since I have 2 pairs. I then need to figure out what I'm going to do with the matching kg5.5's and matching sub

  18. Question on these Crites ct120 tweeters. On my belle klipsch speakers, the highs are wicked bright (I'm from New England, that means very bright). I need to lower the treble pretty low compared to flat on the receiver. If I install these tweeters in my belles, will that make a difference on brightness?
  19. Here you go http://www.huayushiting.com/uploads/140SA-f.jpg
  20. Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/252441098773
  21. is that including a sub? Those are fairly old. I'd think you could get them much cheaper than that. You can buy brand new quintets for 275$ right now I think on Klipsch website. If they are still having the sale.I believe it includes a sub, the ad says new in box. I've looked it up on eBay, I could only find one listing for a much higher price for only the center and 2 sides. I couldn't find any previous listings to gauge how much they go for.Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  22. Has anyone here tried out the klipsch cinema 6 set? I can get a set for less than $300 locally which I think is a decent deal
  23. Unless the man pictured is a giant, I would call those short horns
  24. I made a shelf for my tv to sit on, and the klf-c7 to sit underneath. Thanks for the suggestions.
  25. I realize this is a 2 channel thread but if you like this album, my guess is you would really like the DVD-A of Welcome to my Nightmare, and I like slightly better, Billion Dollar Babies. Both multichannel versions sound crisp and the low end on I love the dead, really thumps on our HT below.I do have that dvd-a and it's awesome. I love how you can distinctly hear the individual kids voices in the surround speakers during "department of youth". I need to check out billion dollar babiesSent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk I'd be curious which you liked better the 2 channel mix or the multichannel? I can't pick a favorite. I put in the dvd-a in my home theater to show off that, and I play the CD to show off my 2-channel setup (belles). Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
