  1. of course...the anticipation must be killing you
  2. bump. Still have both plate amps available for sale.
  3. $425 shipped?!?! That's insane...Would you consider any type of trades?
  4. That's a steal at that price with those updates (i have similar) glwys
  5. Thanks. Are you able to compare them to la scala or belles?
  6. I have a DIY dual 15" sub running off a crown amp and I can tell you it sounds phenomenal. That being said I've never run it with a horn loaded sub so I have no idea how much better it could sound.....but you can't go wrong with a decent sub and a good AVR or receiver that can run room correction. My sub blends perfectly with my Belles
  7. I have the Volti wood horn replacement in my Belles as well as the crites ct125 tweeter, xo over, and new mid horn. I love them. Sound phenom. Good find.
  8. I'm in the Northern California area and can't find a local dealer to go audition a pair of the new Forte III. I currently have Belle Klipsch (modified) and love them but space restraints for HT (they serve Stereo AND HT duties) have me looking at smaller Klipsch heritage speakers. Anyways before I go too far down this rabbit hole was wondering if anyone had a pair around Sacramento that they would be willing to audition for me??
  9. Ive got a bunch of left over veneer. Ill try those combos. Thanks!
  10. So you think if i watcod the belles they wouldnt be so orange?
  11. I have a subwoofer that i had built and then I veneered in walnut. Im wondering what stain to use to get it to match my 70s belles. The bells seem very warm and orange and the tests I've done on scraps of veneer don't even get close to the warmth.
  12. OR Sacramento....I need a center for my future HT upgrade....
  13. Building a new subwoofer box. No one seems to want the old box with plate amps so just selling the amps. Dayton Audio SPA500 plate amps. Been used about a year in smoke free house. They work awesome. $150 for each (i have 2) plus shipping to CONUS. Im in Northern CA if someone wants to pick up.
  14. Always hurry up and wait. Id like an announcement just once that coincided with the actual release. I hate waiting lol
  15. One of the biggest news stories I just learned about from CES is that Qobuzz is coming to the USA. A true competitor to Tidal for those of us that don't like the forced Rap/R&B front end of Tidal and now will arguably have much better hifi streaming. Goodby Spotify hello quality streaming.
  16. Ummmm last I checked my Belle's are part of the heritage line....bring back the Belles!!!
  17. It's for real this time. New couch means I can no longer hide these behind out current couch. A pair of custom made boxes 30" wide by 10" deep by 24" tall. Has a Dayton Audio HF-15 driver and the Dayton Audio 500 watt plate amp. $500 takes both. These things can be tuned very easily. They can shake your house of the foundation or give you some deep tight musical bass. I'm located in Rocklin, CA (just outside Sacramento) and am looking for local pickup or I can drive a little ways to meet half way ect. I am posting these here first and if no takers in a week or so I will put on the dreaded Craigslist or Facebook marketplace....Any questions feel free to PM me. Thanks Jeremy
  18. Was wondering if there was anyone around the Sacramento/Reno area that has a pair of Fortes that I could audition? Looking at possibly getting a pair of the version 3.
  19. Dean you really should look into an inexpensive website to sell your products. Between all the forums and community you would get a decent amount of traffic and save on all the transaction fees.
  20. Keep me posted if they fall through. No hate for the love of audio!
  21. I'm in the market for these. If you don't mind what is the reason for sale?
