  1. Hi,

Test K77 : OK = normally about 6 ohms test with a multimeter

if HS > If you are a bit of a handyman, no need to change the entire K77 tweeter, only change the diaphragms. Change the 2 to have a balanced pair.

I think you got some K77M on your 1983 Heresys, check it out.

At crites : K-77 and K-77M Diaphragm Kits.  These are the ones with the diaphragm pre-installed in the plastic diaphragm housing.  Price is $45.00 each.  A pair is $90.00.  Shipping is $9.00 for a single in the US by Priority Mail or $9.00 for a pair.

You can contact them to have an opinion before ordering

Remember The Cat from Red Dwarf?  He was played by Danny John-Jules, who is now a member of the cast of Death in Paradise, a detective show set on the fictional Caribbean island of Sainte-Marie, actually Guadeloupe.

Danny J-J plays an older police sergeant, who’s still a bit of a playboy.  He thinks he can charm any woman for help or information, and sometimes he can.  The show is pretty formulaic, but it’s still fun, in a gentle way, with no car chases or gunfights.

    Hi,

And the heroines police sergeants of the station and the manager of the restaurant are French actresses :)

  6. Hi,

I have both new and used :

    - Turtable Teac TN550 : new in 2016 / box sealed by factory

    - Cartridge AT VM740ML : new in 2019 / box sealed by factory

    - CDs TASCAM CD200-SB : new in 2020 / box sealed by factory

    - DAB+ / Spotify / FM / Net Radio ... Majority Fitzwilliam : new in 2019 / box sealed by factory

    - Preamplifier McIntosh C504 : used in 1999

    - Amplifier CARY SLi50 : equipment on display in store in 1998

    - Amplifier PAS audio 2002PCA : new in 2021 / box sealed by factory

    - Klipsch Cornwall CWIII : new in 2016 > Purchased in Germany, Unopened boxes, sealed by the Hope factory

    - BeyerDynamic DT990 : new in 2020 / box sealed by factory

For the most part, even if they were closed by the factory I took advantage of good promotions and reduced prices: for example the Tascam CD200-SB cost around 420 € in Europe, I bought mine at 347 € delivered my house.

The new, closed AT VM740ML cartridge: price in store when purchasing 329 € paid in promotion less than 250 € delivered to me.

Ditto for the Klipsch Cornwall III, at the time in 2016 cost around 5000 € the pair, then a few months after my purchase 6000 € here in Europe, I found mine delivered to my door for 3020 € the new pair and sealed by Hope factory, they still had the protective film from the official German importer: OSIRIS AUDIO AG.

On the other hand I agreed to pay the normal price of 589 € for my new PAS audio 2002PCA amplifier, because there is only one seller in Europe and anyway the HiFi amps are equivalent in sound quality and power are worth 2, 3 or even 4 times its price, so even at full price it's a good deal.

Beyerdynamic headphones come in either 32 ohm, 250 ohm or 600 ohm versions. Does anybody know what would work with my Leben CS300 and HK430 twin engine?

BTW, I wish they were making them with real leather and metal, like the akg, but then, they would be much pricier, I guess. I've noticed of late that anything made of non-synthetic materials, like real wood, leather, metal etc has become very pricey.

Yes, Beyerdynamic with noble materials: leather, alcantara, stainless steel, ... exist but it is more expensive: DT1990, DT1770, Amiron, T1, T5 ...
