  1. I gave you my excuse. I try not to come on here if I have been celebrating a little too much (tends to happen late at night if I'm not out with friends and still awake).
  2. Haha I haven't had any cocktails tonight but I have a little trouble following exactly what you say from time to time. It is your dictation me thinks that invites one to decipher a meaning that may or may not be what you are intending to state. I'll say we agree based on your last couple statements 😂
  3. I get up for work at 0430. If I stay up late, I am usually out with friends and not on my phone when doing so. Thank you for the congrats sir!
  4. I am using a 2'for my subs and a 3' pair for my main amp
  5. I have no idea what you are trying to say here. Sounds like you are trying to say that klipsch "pro" gear is only meant for said "pro" applications, which Roy who designs both would quickly shoot down. He did a HELL of a job on the 396s. I bought them blind (well actually blind and deaf) and am tickled with my purchase.
  6. Give the mogamis a try. I'm sure others will chime in. Mogamis can be had for up to 50% off retail. If you don't like them, you can easily sell them for whay you paid on Craigslist in days. They are a favorite in recording studios for a reason and I have seen plenty of folk use em in hifI systems as well. I like Kimber stuff, but the price tag keeps me away. Used, too many fakes floating around....
  7. Indeed it does IMO. Bass is much tighter and more musical than in the Forte IIIs. No they do not extend deeply, but they bass they have is quite satisfactory. The Forte IIIs require time and patience to set them up properly as well. I find the detail, dynamics and balance in the 396s superior as well (there's a catch). In my room, they don't start to work their magic until at around 80 db. They are NOT the champion of low volumes. I am OK with that. I can use a smudge of EQ at low volumes when needed and bypass it when I don't, problem solved.
  8. Currently mogami Gold balanced Interconnects to main amp and sub amp. Quiet, slightly dark, plenty detailed, and smooth with killer bass. My affordable go to. I can give you a place to get them for a nice price if interested....
  9. Beautiful Dave! You have been turning out winner after winner. Keep us all drooling buddy. Strong work.
  10. You already know I agree, but then again I am biased.... Or am I....? I have owned Cornwall IIIs, Forte IIIs and currently the 396s. If I couldn't have these 396s (almost sold em to free up cash for other life's callings), Cornwall III would be my first choice.
  11. I like west coast drums and west coat rumble myself.
  12. According to my calculation, that means at least 25% of us are hiding something..... I would state if I had such a problem....

    .

Price drop. Feel free to drop a PM if interested in anything.
  14. Intersting that the buyer chose these LA scalas over your AWESOME industrial Package.... To each his or her own. Hope you sell the industrials soon. Shocked they are still available.
  15. @babadono, You NEED these for your KP-250s. Get ready to have the ultimate backyard system. I'm sure you could get these for $400. Right in your backyard practically.....
  16. Custom sub in the works. John is working on something for me. No details try. Told him what I wanted and that I won't be ready for it immediately (funds on hold for now).
  17. I didn't say cheap. Budget is still in the works. Based on my list and dimensions given, that was proposed. Nothing is set in stone yet. Compared to say a $2500 SVS ultra 16? I looked them up. $550 or so for a driver. I seem what you mean.
  18. OK I'm gonna be the Guinea pig here. I'm having them build me something nice 😁. Go big or go home (in the space I have) to pair with the 396s.
