  2. I don't have information to share yet. Only that it seems that it may be a 21" driver at this time.... And will be the most cost effective, serious sub I can get my hands on 👍. Thanks GSG AUDIO
  3. I have a wicked sub in the works being envisioned and fabricated as we speak.... Super excited about this one
  4. Nice looking setup.... I would think getting electronics off of the carpet may be a good thing.... I wouldn't argue with you though for fear that you may bludgeon me with one of those power cords 😮
  5. Hmmmmm. Where does one purchase one of these $300 tuba subs? I take it it's a DIY job and $300 in materials?
  6. You are going to LOVE them. Just my biased prediction of course after owning a pair myself. They killed it for the price on those speakers. A shootout with other new speakers in the price range wouldn't be fair me thinks.... Congrats
  7. Bet that will sound terrific. Shoot me a PM some time after you have spent aoem tiem with the rig and let me know what you think. I love the P6. True Swiss army knife with excellent sounding DAC.
  8. Congrats. I have the exact same combo. You are in for a treat. What speakers will they be paired with?
  9. First world problems UGH! Sorry, I don't know of a solution. Good luck though
  10. I think he had decided to keep them if I remember right and maybe now has changed his mind.
  11. The prices are what they are. Premium prices for lower volume. Profit has to come from somewhere.
  12. I think it's legit. I bought a pair of heresys from the seller I believe and he had both ads listed at the same time when I purchased. He was in AZ. Steve.... Member on here.
  13. Amazing how cheap such things can be had from China. Deduct shipping far distances, eBay and PayPal fees. That leaves you with.....
  14. That's quite a statement there. I don't know that I woild agree. Also crossing subs as high as 120 hz? You don't find that boomy/very directional from the subs? I understand what you are saying about speakers rolling off and can see where you are going with that mindset. I would strongly prefer not to use a sub with my 396s, but I found a sub to be a MUST for my needs. Volume matched and crossover over correctly, quality sub(s) can certainly add to the experience in music listening. I found the bass very satisfying from the heresy IIIs. Although I was tempted to add a sub (and I did), I found I preferred them without despite frequency response on paper and I listen to plenty of music with very extended bass. For the music I like that doesn't have said extended bass (and even on some of it) those heresy IIIss are AMAZING speakers and a damn bargain at prices they can be had at.
  15. You last point is a good one. I would bet somewhere between 75% volume to max would be the sweet spot. Try asking a tech at OPPO if you can? Gain staging is important.
