  1. Great deal. But single.... Killer center for someone.
  2. Have you tried a different source (as in cd or vinyl instead of digital files)?
  3. Obviously , that was sarcasm. Come on now.

    Seatbelts!

He says seat belts kill people all the time and it's unreal the body damage they can cause. Yes, but that same trauma doc should also be immensely familiar with the end result of those not wearing seatbelts. If said patient even arrives at the ER, it's never pretty.
  5. NOTHING Is better than rap. The talent that goes into it along with creating a new dialect of a language requires serious talent.
  6. Those are very nice indeed. Really like that look. Congrats.
  7. More than a few hundred. ...The CWIII's are $800 more per pair. Not where I and many others here would buy them. I had both in a smaller room and strongly preferred the Cornwall IIIs myself.
  8. #1 definitely. For a few hundred more, consider the Cornwall IIIs if you have the space.
  9. Definitely not a deal on the Monster. Didn't want to outright say that, but absolutely correct, new or not. That amp certainly wouldn't be under warranty, which makes it as good as used for an aml that was put in the early 2000s.
  10. I have owned the B&K 200.2 and let me tell you, the parasound isn't twice as good an amp at more than double the price. Stick with your B&K gear. I think they fly under the radar a bit.
  11. Case in point. Plenty come up. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649476440-bampk-reference-7250-series-ii-5-ch-amp-200-wattsch-audiophile-quality/
  12. One of the most powerful.... I think not. Going to have to agree here. At this price point, I personally would exclude this amp. So many solid choices for far less
  13. Highly overrated company that manufactures inferrior audio components that fail to compete with equipment in a pricerange that undercuts many Bose products tenfold. Paper cones, 'secret' frequency response, and wide gaps in the crossover dynamics make for muddy and empty sound with high distortion in the upper ranges coupled with limited bass response from the 'bass module,' which is little more than 3 small drivers arranged in a sequence. No highs, no lows, must be Bose!

    .

Just buy it. It's a great deal and you won't regret it. DAC straight to amp with a remote. Plenty of output. Very sophisticated DAC. Can't go wrong.
  15. You are correct.....A21 is running 25% off list.....which is a good bargain.....good call More than that @MetropolisLakeOutfitters. Also A23s, great deal.
  16. Specs don't tell the sound. I'm sure the benchmark would spank the parasound. However, the parasound A21 used or new super discounted right now before they are gone would make an exceptional value.
  17. Yeah. I'm sure it is. It will also cost you at least 1k more I'm sure too
  18. Benchmark is his DAC/PRE. Parasound A21 is his amp 250 X 2. Killer combo in my opinion.
  19. Any AVR, Integrated Amplifier or Amp/Pre separates will soundindistinguishable from the other so long as not overdriven, which is unlikely given the efficiency of the Forte III'S. That is simply a false statement. Sorry. Why bother to have a hifI system if you feel there is no difference between anything?
  20. You can push the fortes very hard (I have done so mysslf with the same amp) . You will give up long before they do unless you have a huge room or are boost happy on an eq.
