  1. I'm content with what I have right now. Likely, I may need to upgrade in the headphone department and sell off later. I have sennheiser hd650s now. Good enough..... My main system isn't going anywhere and I don't have an itch that needs to be scratched in the upgrade realm.
  2. She's gonna love horror movies just like I do, I know it. She was due 11/5, but she CHOSE to come on Halloween. Strong work Lauren.
  3. I don't think so 😂👂🔉
  4. You competing with @jwc now eh? He's not exactly a next door neighbor for me otherwise id be knocking on his door too. Didn't have the time or the space to be able to hear a pair of the grands as you could see when you can over. I would Def like to hear the after you get them dialed in nicely. I can compare to the jubes I heard from @babadono.
  5. It's OK. Take your time, we are waiting patiently for your review of both. Do I get an "admit one" ticket to the man cave sometime down the road? 😁
  6. Thanks brotha. Yeah I don't think I'll be trading this one out regardless of what the wife thinks 😏. So far so good, healthy and feeling well. Couldn't ask for more.
  7. He's going active I believe.... I would guess that they are a smidge hotter for said reason.
  8. I didn't get candy for Halloween this year, but I did get something slightly better....
  9. Same here. Wish more were local. Lots of quality people on the forum here.
  10. Buyer backed out due to emergency circumstances. ONE pair left.
  11. Gets you in trouble every time. Proceed with caution...
  12. Maybe I missed it, so what was the problem? Sounds like a perfectly standard craigslist transaction to me. They are just keeping you honest.
  13. That was his intended original asking price. He just made a simple slip of the pen on the amount of trailing zeros.
  14. Wise words of Klipsch Forum wisdom there man 👍
  15. Didn't mean to quote you again. This is just my opinion and my experience. If you are interested, might want to speak to the source regarding. Good luck on your journey.
  16. I'm gonna go out on a shameless recommendation based on my experience with my KI 362 IIs. @Dave A makes MAHL tweeters lenses with a variety of b&c drivers that are plug and play. He offers a money back guarantee (which made me take the plunge in spite of me being quite satisfied with my speakers stock). Let me just say, I am EXTREMELY satisfied with them for what I spent. He even pays return shipping back to him if you are not happy. These tweeters / lenses are incredible. Soooooo smooth and hyper detailed at the same time. Rarely do I hear the combo of those two things. My detail in the highs ramped up quite noticeably, highs brightened SLIGHTLY (in a very positive manner for my tastes) and listener fatigue dropped. I find myself listening at lower volumes and being more content. I highly suggest you consider looking into a pair risk free. Just my 2 cents.
  17. Perhaps auditioning the new model VS exploring potential mods / tweaks to your current La scala IIs may be a discussion for you? Perhaps if you hear the new model and you really like something about them, you can taeget relatively inexpensive tweaks toward that sound (in comparison to 12k for a new pair of al5s....). Will save you A LOT of money and allow you to flavor until your heart is content. Just thinking out loud.
  18. World series? And yes there is one
  19. Contact @MetropolisLakeOutfitters instead. Straight shooter, can call his cell directly and get his number from Google. Pricing is great. Give him a shot first. Active member here. Gets my recommendation.
  20. If the speakers were rough and not just things that can be easily touched up, or if I was planning to keep them long term, by all means. Just a thought. Those by no means look rough to me. Good price. Someone grab em and enjoy!
  21. I don't to for showroom finish. Use high proof rubbing alcohol on rag and rub speakers down entirely. Dry them after. Dip new, clean rag in stain and go with the grain in light coats (takes a few minutes per speaker). Have doen this multiple times with good results. Usually 2 coats are all that is needed. Again, not perfect, but results I have experienced were well worth minimal effort.
