Decent price ... plus, think they are "walnut." No mention or pic of grilles?

All these people have to do is skip one Starbucks coffee, or one burger a day and they would have enough money to support themselves. I give a lot to charity, but have to draw the line somewhere. Not going to support a government employee that makes good money and has more benefits (and vacation) than most of us who were in private business. Hope they learn to plan for emergencies from this experience.
  3. If they were walnut I would have picked them up already
  4. Yes; I see more and more stuff on "OfferUp." Have purchased several things via OfferUp. On CraigsList it's less and less
  5. Somewhere in Tampa Haha; go get them It's only 100 miles from you (And ... I did send the seller a note to clarify his listing.)
  6. Have tried many of the KG's ... 1.5, 2.2, 3.2, 4, 4.2. 5.5. All very decent ... actually like the (older) KG4 the best of these. No longer have them ... strictly Heritage and Pro now. But pretty good and available for decent prices. Good as an introduction to Klipsch or for bed/guest/other rooms.
  7. Very good price ... would be decent for bed/guest room. Ad is not clear; "think" these are R-15M's ... also "think" it is for both pairs ... haha; last, "think" they are black CraigsList: https://offerup.com/item/detail/613034199/
  8. Tempting but have no space left for these Specs at https://f072605def1c9a5ef179-a0bc3fbf1884fc0965506ae2b946e1cd.ssl.cf2.rackcdn.com/product-specsheets/Chorus-brochure.pdf
  9. @rockhound Just out of curiosity ... what horns are in this setup? Thanks, Emile
  10. Awesome price ... someone better get these fast! Not familiar with the 456's, but have a pair of similar 904's ... you CANNOT beat these setups with "home" Klipsch speakers. If I did not have my 904's, I would happily drive 8 hours to get these GLWS
  11. Recoup my losses from the Sep-Dec stock market meltdown Haha ... maybe a "new" knee
  12. Thanks, Joe. Haha Trying to convince her ... think I have a 25% chance
  13. Haha ... is going to look (and sound) awesome in your room
  14. Hi Joe ... awesome ... trying, but don't think I can get these "past my wife" Am I correct that they are about 31 inch in diameter? How deep are they? Many thanks, Emile
  15. OK; second that opinion. But, if you spend $2400 I suggest you look at (used) Pro speakers
  16. Haha ... not familiar with the JBL L100's, but they seem to be a very good speaker OK, I vote for CW's up front and use the JBL's for surround/rear duty (WITH another amp!). Just be aware that any Klipsch speaker will probably be "brighter" than these JBL's. And, when you get the CW's or Chorus you will probably want to switch to Titanium diaphragms ... haha; even "brighter." Good luck with your decision Cheers, Emile
  17. One more thought Get them BOTH Use the CW's up front and the Chorus in the kitchen or rear room. Use a "cheap" amp like a vintage Yamaha 620/820 (about $150; 35-45W/ch) for the "back" speakers; reverse polarity. You'll be in sound heaven. Cheers, Emile
  18. Hi Mike, Welcome to the Klipsch "nuts" forum. You'll get some good feedback here. Have about the same size room ... but in an "L" shape. Used to have Cornwall I's up front and they did "fill the whole space," only loosing some base farther away. Neighbor has a slightly smaller room with Chorus II's ... does not seem to match the CW's ... "tiny" in comparison (but not a "real" A/B test). As some mentioned before, Khorns might be a better option ... but I would suggest "bypassing" those and going for Pro speakers instead. I have KPT-904's with K-510 horns; different league; now using the CW's as rear speakers. Or go "all the way" with Jubes and K-402 horns! Cheers, Emile Add-on ... Don't even think of replacing your Sansui amp; one of the "real" vintage amps with 100W/ch, it'll cost you many $ thousands to get something better ... wish I had one of those ... using Marantz/Yamaha's to drive my 904's and CW's
  19. Haha ... billybob did not get them ... I did not get them
  20. Ask your neigbor(s) to help you. They will be so impressed that they might even want to hear those speakers (through the walls)
  21. No affiliation ... https://tampa.craigslist.org/psc/ele/d/new-port-richey-pair-of-vintage-klipsch/6792133460.html ... decent price
  22. Used to live there ... the trains top out at about 70MPH. Most amazing part is that the stops are timed to the SECOND ... when your train is supposed to leave a station at say 11:04, it WILL leave at 11:04:00 ... unbelievable
  23. @Coytee ... thanks! Interesting solution ... but let's see what happens
  24. Thank you SIR Yes, I was joking and just wanted to start a conversation ... OK; I was very frustrated ... apologize for a "bad" joke.
