Sennheiser HD-650's with a Schiit Valhalla amp and some junk cd player. I'm not totally into cd's like many. Sounds great in a pinch. Perhaps an Oppo someday. Having more LP's, I listen to a pair of Marantz SE-1 electrostatic's thru my PrimaLuna. Sounds fantastic. Have had them for years and actually forgot I had them til one day a light bulb went off in my wittle brain. Ha! I DO like the 650s though. They sound great and are comfy. Nice run of lead wire to the head phones too. Easy to relax in.

Rain here with falling temps but I think I'm ready for it, aside for the neighbors leaves blowing my way. Spent Tuesday in the garage movin stuff around getting the snow blower close to the garage door and next to my OLD Cub Cadet and big lawn sweeper. Had to find a place for a 30" Toro twin-blade mower I bought at auction Saturday. Don't ask me why either. Have my Cub, my mom's Honda rider and now this contraption along with a myriad of other lawn stuff. No way was I gonna NOT buy this $1100 mower for $50! Spring is right around the corner. Off it and buy more gear! hahaha

Mine was hilarious. Police Chief here is a good friend and after he retired while sittin in his garage he started telling me he got a call to go back to the station one morning. Said there were two Secret Service guys there asking all kinds of questions about me. hahaha I asked him if he lied and he said no but it took the better part of the morning. lol He's was always in his garage workin on his old car so one day I took him a half dozen donuts and a large coffee and told him thanks. Had to be my clearance. Well, now that I think about it maybe not... j/k, j/k I'm angelic! lolol

Thanks for that brother! Yea, I'm fine and done with it! Took the better part of 3 year off and on to get it done and I'm happy it IS done. Just one thing that pops up occasionally. The Allman Brothers for example. Have to sort out the individual artists I've grouped in WITH the Allman Brothers. It's taken so long to do it I guess I forgot which way I was doing it in some cases. So that's about all that's left and I'm outta room. I buy more it's ANOTHER shelf on the wall. Have another 6' section of shelving I could put up but that's schitt tons of weight. I'm outta room and the only answer is more tubs! Unless I want to take a chance on the wall falling in. hahaha Now comes the demo work. New paint except for the album wall, Rip an ugly flourescent light box down and hang a new Levolor that's been laying here on the floor for 3 years or so. Patience is a virtue they say! 😂 Then a NICE big oriental rug for the hardwood floor, acoustical treatments here and there, maybe about 4 boxes on the ceiling since it's vaulted and a theater curtain to draw across the back wall behind the couch. By then I'll be ready to croak and the girls will swear dad really WAS insane! 😂 😂 😂

I-O! Hahahahahaha! I remember a time when the entire world thought OSU was gonna beat Bo. An old oddsmaker in Vegas asked me about it and told me if the world is gonna bet on OSU to put the house, boat and car on ❌ichigan. I laffed and watched not betting on the game. OSU lost. Made a believer outta me. I DO think he'd look good in Hope wearing a #2 OSU jersey for a day though. Predator AND Dobbins both wear #2 so we may as well double our pleasure and double our fun! 😂

It's week by week now as we all know. Sure I watched some of the ❌ichigan game and it seemed like a bit of a different team. They finally getting it together or? Here is the ONE thing I see that could have a major impact on Nov. 30th fwiw. Ed Wariner! Urban finally dumped him so blue snatched him up. Ed KNOWS football and is a great friend of Urban's but who's signing the check now? Will he roll over on OSU or not? He was in the box as the Offensive Coordinator and worked side by side w/Coach Day. He's in his head and KNOWS what Day likes to do. Simple. As far as the OSU program goes now? Totally different program though as most have seen. The elements impact any game as well as the psych aspects and injuries all play a factor too but these kids are totally focused on NOT losing a game all the way out . They saw what happened losing that ONE game in the past years did. Game at a time!

I FINALLY put a pile of Winwood's away. Spent the last couple days with him. First time for a few and they just sounded ahhhhmazing to me! Now I'm like??? What's next?

Mc D's? Ray Krock is rolling over in his grave today! I remember going to a Mc D's and driving 20 miles one-way to get there. Today there's one a mile from my place and I drive right on by. Done! Females wearing my shirt's? Why? Nekkie was ALWAYS better cause you usually wound up that way sooner or later! Why would I want burn holes in my shirts??? That was then. Today? Ha, a fleeting memory!

Yea, I realize all that but when I heard his older brother was off work for his brother's funeral. Then asked him what happened I was like WOW at least he should have been happy but why??? Not worth shooting yourself over. His wife and daughters? He had a nice lil rig and a lot of albums his brother said when we talked. Kinda fishing for a buyer it sounded like. Nope, not me. Just stuck with me is all. so no Kiss for me ever again. Too freaky for me.

Local guy's brother LOVED "KISS" and knew every word to every song, did the make-up and everything. So when he found out his brother wanted to go to the show in Cleveland he asked me about trying to find something cheap for the 4 of them. His brother had medical problems and had been off work for a couple month's and didn't have the money but had never seen them and "had" to go see the LAST show somehow. He wanted to take his wife and two teenage daughters with him just so he could share his love for KISS with them. THAT in itself sold me. A family outing! I hooked him up with 4 comp tickets in Row 10 Center for the show and gave them to his brother. His brother made it a point to stop by later and thank me for the tickets telling me they were over the moon with the seats and show. Had the best time of their lives he said. Here's the down-side of it all and the reason I'll NEVER listen to another Kiss LP. Not that I listen to a lot of Kiss anyway! Two weeks later I heard the guy committed suicide while laying down on top of his younger brother's grave in the cemetery. In talking a bit later with his older brother I found out both of them were Kiss freaks. NOPE NEVER AGAIN!

Hourglass began as an RnB group released their first LP in 1967. Mmmmm nope, nothing going chart wise hence the beginning of The Allman Brothers. The rest is history! The Best of Duane Allman is a 1979 release on Polydor Records I'm not a big fan of live albums yet most are exceptional IF the mix is right. Factor in a 2-LP? Usually a double UGH as was this one from 1976! Yup, it was too. just didn't come off as well as their 1971 "At Fillmore East." All that aside, "Wipe the Windows, Check the Oil, Dollar Gas" is it for me when I want a change. It's the way it was and it's also they way they were!

I've been eating Kashi cereals. Lo sugar and high fiber. Good stuff w/some milk. No, I won't do anything for them nor will you cook me and do a Bobby Flay throw down w/a pat of butter and maple syrup! 🖖
