Does anybody know if my KG3s have same 8 inch bass driver as the KG2....or does Klipsch still have them?
-
Agreed...if I had the room, I would try Fortes or KG4....but KG3 with my quality vintage Sansui amp good enough for me
-
Awesome....thank you....love the quality & history
-
Ok....thanks good to know....can you tell me where my 1990 KG3s were made?

Hello, music lovers...can you tell me if my 1990 KG3 were made in Hope....and if not where ?
-
Agreed....the older models KG 2 , 3 & 4s better quality
-
Yep...quite a guy...accomplished alot....RIP Paul & thanks
-
Agreed....keep it simple...all you need is 1-2 quality recievers / amps..I like Sansui & a nice pair of Klipsch , JBL, Polk....speakers
-
A lot of cool Interesting facts...I own a super clean pair of KG3...I think from 1990 just nice to own a nice quality vintage American KG set ....from real American antepinuers & engineers....
-
Looks like the KG3 / from 1990....woofer cones made from different material than 3.2
-
I agree...let's compare Apple's to apples....there are lots of different models & factors involved....I have JBL L46 & Klipsch KG3 & love them both....
-
The 770 / 777 ....80 or 100 WPC.....all good......

Hello music lovers....I recently ordered a pair of new RB 81 V2 ...out of curiousity...going to compare them to my1982 / JBL- L46 speakers which are awesome....hooked up to my Sansui G5500 reciever....because I used to have a pair of 1992 KG 4.2s which were awesome but trying to keep things smaller these days....19 - 21 inches tall max...large book shelf...any opinions on how these RB 81s might compare?
-
I was just reminded of this after recently ordering a pair of RB 81 speakers...which I think we're discontinued in 2010 ?

Agreed....for my 60 year old ears & expierience....a good quality reciever or Amp & Klipsch or JBL speakers ...good enough -
I say it's hard to beat build & sound quality Vintage KG Klipsch..forte, Hershey's...etc and 1970s JBLs....either brand hooked up to my 1979 Sansui reciever...sound Amazing
-
Boston A60s get great reviews but for my ears its Klipsch, JBL, Infinity....
-
Agreed....Klipsch KG4 series hard to beat if you have the room...but for smaller applications, the JBL. 46. work well
-
Funny....flurry of speakers....me too....I liked my 1980 / Pioneer HPM 900s .... military over seas....now a days just have some Infinity RS 325 , SM 85 & Boston A60s....all good enough
-
KG 4s are hard to beat if you have the room....I had some 4.2s.....but have had to down size since then
-
For there size Audioengine sound great...good quality....but over priced $699 compared to sixes going for $499
-
Make sure phono switch is in line position unless your listening to turntable
-
They sound much bigger & better than Audioengine HD6 because they are just bigger....
