  2. Agreed...if I had the room, I would try Fortes or KG4....but KG3 with my quality vintage Sansui amp good enough for me

  8. Agreed....keep it simple...all you need is 1-2 quality recievers / amps..I like Sansui & a nice pair of Klipsch , JBL, Polk....speakers
  9. A lot of cool Interesting facts...I own a super clean pair of KG3...I think from 1990 just nice to own a nice quality vintage American KG set ....from real American antepinuers & engineers....

  11. I agree...let's compare Apple's to apples....there are lots of different models & factors involved....I have JBL L46 & Klipsch KG3 & love them both....

Hello music lovers....I recently ordered a pair of new RB 81 V2 ...out of curiousity...going to compare them to my1982 / JBL- L46 speakers which are awesome....hooked up to my Sansui G5500 reciever....because I used to have a pair of 1992 KG 4.2s which were awesome but trying to keep things smaller these days....19 - 21 inches tall max...large book shelf...any opinions on how these RB 81s might compare?
  15. I was just reminded of this after recently ordering a pair of RB 81 speakers...which I think we're discontinued in 2010 ?
  16. Agreed....for my 60 year old ears & expierience....a good quality reciever or Amp & Klipsch or JBL speakers ...good enough
  17. I say it's hard to beat build & sound quality Vintage KG Klipsch..forte, Hershey's...etc and 1970s JBLs....either brand hooked up to my 1979 Sansui reciever...sound Amazing
  18. Boston A60s get great reviews but for my ears its Klipsch, JBL, Infinity....
  19. Agreed....Klipsch KG4 series hard to beat if you have the room...but for smaller applications, the JBL. 46. work well
  20. Funny....flurry of speakers....me too....I liked my 1980 / Pioneer HPM 900s .... military over seas....now a days just have some Infinity RS 325 , SM 85 & Boston A60s....all good enough
  21. KG 4s are hard to beat if you have the room....I had some 4.2s.....but have had to down size since then
  22. For there size Audioengine sound great...good quality....but over priced $699 compared to sixes going for $499
  23. Make sure phono switch is in line position unless your listening to turntable
  24. They sound much bigger & better than Audioengine HD6 because they are just bigger....
