  1. Music is relative to the listener BUT I do think music has gotten worse in my years! Back in the 80's and 90's, music was fun and you could dance to it! There were dance clubs and under 21 clubs and DJ's everywhere but now, the music has gone down hill (to put it nicely) and the clubs have dried up, people don't dance as much or as often and all the new stuff sounds the same. DJ's use digital songs to play their gigs and they are a lot fewer in number with higher prices! Simple observation on my behalf but I truly think the downhill evolution of music is to blame.
  2. She's mint! I do need a new carb and 4 new tires though! I have been spending fun money on stereo stuff instead of car parts lately, LOL!!
  3. 302 built to 306 with mild cam and 289 heads. It has a C4 auto transmission. Just enough to make some noise but still run on pump gas all weekend!
  4. I think this list was voted up by random people in each state so it probably isn't very scientific! Just something fun to look at!

  6. They might be running recount and rebuild tasks which will mess with images and avatars...hopefully they will all return to normal when the tasks are done running!
  7. I have my turntable stacked on top of my receiver right now but I am worried about heat dissipation! I've been looking for an audio stand or TV stand to fix the issue! Plus more room to add more components!
  8. I like this video for some reason! It's like a simple, homemade music video! No flashy lights and crap...just the band and music!
  9. True...I can see Metallica's Master of Puppets sky rocketing because of the featured scene in Strange Things but Def Leppard has been pretty quite lately!
  10. I picked up AC/DC Back in Black for $20 at Walmart...I wanted to get Def Leppard Hysteria also but it was $60...WHY??
  11. I got 10 12" singles in the mail...it was a white elephant deal from eBay! I didn't know what was going to be in the box so it was like the old DJ days when we got new music on vinyl in the mail! You never knew what was coming but record companies wanted us to play it and say it! I ended up getting all cool club titles and remixes...not a bad haul for $25
  12. I have a 71 Mach 1 Mustang...it runs but needs a new carb and new tires in order to hit the road! I've been busy spending all my extra money on speakers and vintage audio gear...the Mach 1 got sent to the back burner, LOL!
  13. Any one know if Klipsch KG4.2 speakers are any good? I really like the looks of them plus they would fit in well with my vintage system! I just don't know if they are worth hunting down, driving after, shipping or what ever I have to do to get them!
  14. Here is my cat Big Rick. You gotta watch this one, he likes guns. A lot.
  15. The heritage speakers are just that! Something your kids and grand kids may be enjoying long after you are gone! They are built to last! Knowing this elevates the amount of WANT that you have for them! I have experienced the Klipsch pro sound speakers in action but never heard a set of La Scala's in someone's living room...but I absolutely want a set for my self! Someday. Keep dreaming big, Rocket!
  16. That's the problem with these new AVRs...to damn complicated to set up! My Yamaha AVR has an easily overlooked menu item titled: "Subwoofer: ON or OFF!" You have to find it and turn it on to add a sub! My 1970's Sony Receiver doesn't have any sub outs...just Speakers A&B Front speakers on A and Sub on B (as long as your sub has speaker level (high level) inputs!)
  17. Is this happening on your phone? iPhone or Android? You can turn off notifications for the facebook app right from your phone settings! The best bet is to go to facebook.com>settings>notifications and turn off all the notification that you don't want!
  18. Everyone knows that cats love Klipsch! #catsloveklipsch
  19. Those little guys will POUND too! Nice deal!
  20. Good plan! I should sell some of my old stuff too...that would help the cause!
  21. I am starting to collect pretty much anything with a silver face! I don't even care if it works, they are just great to look at! LOL
  22. Not anymore...Rolling Rock sold out to Anheuser-Busch and is brewed in several different cities other than Latrobe, PA! The brewery is still here but it is City Brewing Co. now...they brew Twisted Tea and Truly Hard Seltzer water.
  23. Those are pretty cool looking! They can be had for $329 on Amazon right now. I really like the Sony's plus they are mated up to a Sony receiver (not that it matters) so I'll run them for a while and maybe try something else! I still need some smaller speakers for a 5.1 in my living room that I need to upgrade so they won't go to waste!
  24. I picked up a really cool Pantera album...2 disc set but only 3 sides! The B side of disc 2 is blank with a photo disc of the band! Pretty cool!
