  1. If your chair/sofa is all the way to the back wall that could be part of the problem, try moving it out a couple of feet if you can, also if they can be moved try them on the back wall, being a small room you would need all the help you can get to make it sound spacious.
  2. Just substitute sausage for coonass and you have Low Country Boil . [] Now that's funny It's the coonasses doing the boiling not really boiling real coonasses [+o(] [:|] []
  3. Now it's a good thing there were not any Roadie groupies around, they would have killed you old folks ! [] Just kidding, that is alot of work moving all that stuff around and setting up and organizing everything, glad it went well, I wish I could have been there. I do have a question not being a roadie and all, how do you know how loud to play everything when the bands are playing ?
  4. OK that's kind of what I thought a seafood boil, but most websites do not tell you all the ingredients normally used, kind of a cross between a northern boil/steam with no seasoning [+o(] and a coonass boil with everything but the kitchen sink. []
  5. I just remembered these were also at the auction and were bought by a forum member from Georgia, they are monsters. The date on the camera is wrong.
  6. That's strange we bought them at an auction in Mississippi of a dealer who went out of business. [] Guess what, the dealer from California was also at the auction and shipped what he bought back to his store.
  7. Well to be honest I have done it plenty, but that was many years ago, now I let someone else drive who has not been drinking or I am the one to drive and everyone else was drinking. I have to say everything is not nearly as funny when you are the only one not drinking. Your right about Louisiana, you can pull up to a drive thru daiquiri store and get a gallon of your favorite flavor almost 24 hours a day. Where we live 30 miles into Mississippi it's a dry county [] but don't think for one second these rednecks aren't drinking especialy at the rate they slide off the road and take out telephone poles around here. You can go 30 miles in two different directions from here and cross the state line into Louisiana and the first store you come to sells more liquor than gasoline.
  8. I'd have gone for this. Me too, I have heard them, that is a really nice sounding speaker and if I remember correctly much smaller then the RB 75's.
  9. The RB 75 is a very under rated speaker, my daughter got a pair about a month ago and I tried them out before she took them to her room. I have to admit for a bookshelf speaker I was shocked with how full and smooth they sounded, I have never had any of the Reference speakers so I had only heard them in showrooms which is always different then when you get them home. Although I have to say they are kind of big for a bookshelf speaker, they are almost the size of a Heresy, not that I have a problem with the size of any speaker but that's kind of big for a bookshelf but the sound is really nice. Enjoy you new speakers, where are you from, that's not an easy speaker to find new in the box ?
  10. I need a bumper sticker like that, " You're in America- LEARN ENGLISH and play by the rules "
  11. Elden, It was the B-day boy that ran them up. I am getting old I guess. Wow I guess under that Conservative looking outside there is a wild man, not really surprised, you have to watch the quiet ones. [H]

  20. I was going to ask how much you wanted for the Yamaha's, sorry no help with your question, never had any of those.
  21. I only listened to it once while doing something else and I was thinking it sounded kind of off, like overly compressed or something, it was the CD version but still kind of flat, have to listen again.
  22. Just got that one tonight, never listened yet. Also chickenfoot..Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani..listening to this one now.
  23. Well Coytee your just full of...................good news....I think I will ask DrWho to make sure the settings are still in there that JWC put in, before he sends it back to me, just to make it dummy proof well almost.
