  1. Seti i am surprised JWC hadn't had more to say about this, he is the king of funk, probably has more than everyone here together, it's his favorite.
  2. Oh wait I have one for you. Before we moved here we lived in a house that was over 100 years old and had a huge fireplace. One summer night we were sitting on the sofa watching TV and we heard something fall down the chimney and was making a strange sound. Christy tells me go see what it is, as she stands on the sofa, I walk over and look and was very surprised. It was a bird with a mouse in it's claws AND a snake wrapped around the bird and the mouse ! I told her let me get some gloves, I ran out and got the thickest gloves i had , a pair of welding gloves. I picked it up and none of the three were willing to let go of the other, so they stayed in a ball as I carried them outside and pitched them out in the yard. NO [bs] it's 100% true.....Christy just about pooped a cow...the next day she complained to my Dad and he made me go up on the roof and put some hardware cloth over the opening of the chimney. I have to admit it was very strange. My wife was not amused at all !
  3. Tell him Klipsch makes up in sound quality for what bose makes up in advertising money.
  4. Even that would be perfect for HT, it would be nice if you could order a Cornwall or heresy with a square turntable as an option !
  5. And where do you sign up for that job? She looks talented to me or at least has potential !
  6. When you say " round turntable " do you mean they can be turned to adjust for the speaker to be horizontal ? That would be very cool !
  7. Ya know... I never thought I'd see the day when I suggested to someone they use a Jubilee as a 'filler' speaker That's funny, that would be a mean filler speaker but it would not fit............but you just gave me an idea, that will probably get me in big trouble. Build one more MWM single bin, do away with the TV cabinet and set the TV on the single bin which would leave room for a 402 horn above the TV. I am dead meat, she likes the TV cabinet it has little shelves to hold little things she has on them. It is an idea to remember for when the Tv dies and I am forced to get one that can hang on the back wall, I will just say Coytee said it would sound good !
  8. Great looking grain, if they look like in a pic they must really stand out in person, very nice. [Y]
  9. All of those are not just HT chairs, they are " bad movie editors " if the movie sucks you fall asleep saving you from a bad movie ! [|-)]
  10. I am a pro at bulking up, I can do it without even trying ! [:|] You did not say muscle, that's a whole different sport, never was good at that kind of bulking.
  11. One thing you are also comparing two different speakers, in two different rooms, that alone can make a huge difference. Does his room have more rugs, big soft chairs or anything to make the room more dead. Or the other way for you room less carpet/rugs different flooring, all of that effects the sound almost as much as the speakers.
  12. Ok, I was just wondering, thinking about in the future possibly using something like that for surrounds. The big problem I would have with that would be a center. I only have room for something the size of a Forte, unless I went with phantom mode on the MWM/402. I will probably just keep the all forte ht for now, I really like it but was just thinking if there was a way to cut down on the amount of speakers to get the same job done.
  13. I have no experience with NFL stuff but since no one answered I would go with the 56, anything to tight is aggravating.
  14. That's funny, right up to the last part...divorce....now your talking serious money and a real lifestyle change. [] I remember those Jenson triaxial 6x9's they were hot stuff when they came out, had to have some.
  15. Now that's sounds like something GLA51 would be doing ! []
  16. WOW I do like that idea, probably would work today also, people are always looking for something different. Coffee shop/cafe and at night a little different lighting for maby Jazz or different themes on different nights. Seti needs to start a franchise ! [H]
  17. You really do, it would be worth the trip just to get an idea of what you want to do as far as Khorns or something else. No one was willing to sell there Khorns.....but ended up selling them, and I know why, your ears will also. IMO The Jub goes lower than the khorn but for me it was the 402 horn that stole the show. I love that horn, like they say there's no replacement for displacement, it does not sound like the music is coming from a horn, I guess because of the size and/or just a great design ?
  18. Mr Bill H what is a KP-110B ? Edit.....I found it...what do you use as rears in your HT, I can remember seeing the pic's they were on brackets if i remember correctly ? just wondering
  19. How long will it be far ? That is a big job site if they are importing Lawyers ! []
  20. Go ahead with your bad self, you can't beat Bob, One Love....... like OB use to say. And a smart wife also ! [Y]
  21. I didn't know you could do that, that would be interesting, thanks for serving.
  22. Unbelievable, so where does the criminals rights leave off and the future victims rights begin ? Makes you think some of these people in the position to make decisions like that has never had kids of there own.
  23. A bump in this situation is simply a refill. It's akin to saying "hit me" at a black jack table. Not to be confused with a bumper, which denotes a glass, usually beer, filled to the brim. Not to be confused with "hit me" in the wrong bar, which could result in being "cold-cocked", not to be confused with ... Just ask the perfesser. A first for me to quote myself (a quote is the stuff between these mark thingies "" "") but I just re-read what I wrote and I must say it's some of my best work. Sort of a comedic hiaku. Most worthy of a bump. A bump for Thebes quoting himself in public.
