  1. A good friend is helping an elderly Gentelman liquidate his audio gear. In the collection is a nice pair of 1975 oiled Walnut Klipschorns, I am unable to buy them right now so I want to pass on a good deal to you guys. These are one owner, he purchased them in 1976 and they have been in the same corner since. In the pictures you can see he taped a plywood panel to protect the bottom corners from damage. There is one chip of trim missing in one picture, all the corners are sharp. These could be cleaned, chip repaired In The trim and re-oiled to new. Asking $4000 I can pass on the contact info to anyone who messages me, these are not listed anywhere else. I can send larger pictures to those interested. im not sure how to flip these.
  2. I am original owner of Klipsch KG 5.2 floor standing (asking $450), KG2 bookshelf (asking $300) and KG SW subwoofer (asking $300) speakers. Will seriously consider any offers. The cabinets are light oak wood and are in very good condition with very minor wear considering the fact that they are decades old. No holes or tears in speaker cones or grills. I have numerous photos. Local pickup in Wheaton - western Chicagoland suburbs. Please let me know if you have questions via sa.garland@yahoo.com
  3. in good working condition, some bass bins are clones, with drivers identical to original or upgraded with a cast basket and substantially heavier magnet. come with one pair extra bass bins free ( that may not have a driver or that needs repair) I used to run them a wedding receptions and dances with two bass bins and 1 high end per side - so the regular drivers did a good job as they shared the load, if I needed to save space in the truck I would use the bass bins with upgraded drivers. As I acquired other Klipsch models the LaScalas fell out of rotation/utilization. I used to have over a dozen pair. Asking $550 a pair. My location is near Ogdensburg NY B,
  4. Pair of Klipschorn Speakers. This pair was built in the mid-90's. Still has original horns, woofers, and crossovers (AK-3 crossover). They still sound incredible! Speakers are in great shape but do have a few minor scuffs from moving. Speakers are located in Mesquite, NV. I am willing to deliver within 100 miles. Asking $2,300 **SOLD**
  5. Located in Magnolia, AR. This pair of Klipschorns is for $3,500.00 These were purchased circa 1975 I believe, by my father. We live very close to Hope and were bought from factory. Picture attached below. Thanks everyone!
  6. Almost new XD 4080.perfect 950
  7. Selling my pair of 1989 klipsch La Scalas. They come with the original type Al crossover. I purchased the Crites A/4500 crossovers and CT120 tweeters. ($455 total when I purchased them) I also had him drop the mids down 3db on the crossovers. This tamed the mids some and brought out more bass. You can reverse this if you would like. I have before and after pictures if you prefer to go back to original Crites settings. The Type AL still sounds good and gives you 2 options when you are listening to them. Both are included in the sale. The speakers are still in great shape obviously but aren't perfect. The only real thing that needs to be pointed out, besides the fact that the area that holds the crossovers needs a good dusting, is that the tops have some small areas to take note of. I added a big 2X2 piece of tile with felt on the bottom to the tops of the La Scalas (shown in pictures) This gave me the ability to place a lamp or an amp on the tops without concern for damaging them. They Still sound fantastic. Local pickup only. No returns and No refunds. Make me an offer. Enjoy!
  8. I bought a pair of used Klipsch lascalas about 20 years ago. I have used them very little. I am not the first owner. I did check with Klipsch to see where these came from and these were purchased new in West Germany in 1979 according to their serialized tags. So they have been shipped to Europe when they were new purchased and then shipped back to the US. I have a hard time including pictures due to the size of the photo file. These have worked well and not been altered and I believe that the crossovers are original. The cabinets have a few dings here and there. They are Birch with a medium dark stain. LS-BLS on the tags. If interested and have questions please let me know, also can send photos to an email address. PS the sound has always been wonderful from them, I have a pair of cornwall's I bought new in 1985 and they sound a little more full with more depth in a room, but the lascalas have a amazing mid-range. I am in Northern lower Michigan. I don't want to ship these. Thank you
  9. Selling a pair of 1989 heresy standing speakers (in birch raw finish) with angled risers and a KV-1 center channel. This sound system was purchased in February of 1989 and has had no previous owners- so it's in excellent condition. I've had offers on Facebook and from some friends but I would love to sell them to someone who truly appreciates Klipsch! Let me know if you're interested.

  12. Original Klipsch Forte speakers. Conservatively rated 8/10. Consecutive serial numbers. They look great and sound fantastic. Grills are in perfect shape with original badges. Look at the pics and ask questions. They are ready to be hooked up and enjoyed. No trades and Not willing to ship. I need to sell these so make an offer!
  13. These speakers are really in decent physical shape, not perfect. I have more photos and am absolutely willing to do a "video tour" to show fronts sides and back all together on both if anyone is interested. Had them in my living room for quite a while, they are just too big for my house though. Sound amazing to me but I really don't know much about speakers or sound systems. I have a feeling someone would love to have these for a better than decent price so make an offer if you are interested. They are heavy too so I don't really want to ship them, wouldn't even know how to do that, but I suppose I would entertain the idea if you are paying for the shipping. Better if you are in driving range of Austin Texas and can come get them. OK go... don't be shy.

  16. For Sale - Vintage Klipsch Cornwall Speakers (2) - (S Code - 1978) I have never hooked them up, but the components look like they are in great shape. The woofers move freely without obstruction. Cabinets could use refinishing but are in great structural shape (thought about doing it myself, but didn't want to prevent collectors from being able to restore in a certain way). Paper residue on back of cabinet could easily be removed with a degreaser (again didn't want to interfere with restoration). Cash Only and Northwest Arkansas pick up only. Text interest to (479) 685-7295 . ThanksRuss
  17. I have a pair of Cornwall II C-DR-15, serial # 3L180 and # 2J007 originally in plywood boxes, since covered with 3/4" custom finish Ash ply- Yes they are heavy, but see photos. They have never been serviced or updated. Sound is good, but I need to downsize and don't have room placement for them. I have no idea what they are worth and would like sell them. I'm in Northern California (eureka area). Any input, suggestions, or interest in them would be appreciated. I'm new to the forum, but am a fan and have several other Klipsch products. Price range? Anybody interested? thanks

  19. Hi everyone, I am looking for additional information and potential buyer regarding a pair of vintage 1950s klipschorn speakers in excellent working condition. The serial#s are 1671-1672 on the cabinets and 1832 & 1681 on the horns. I'm looking for information regarding their collectibility, value and a potential buyer. I'm located in Houston so anyone local interested please msg me otherwise I can ship at buyer's expense.
  20. Well, these are just a little too big for the needs in Florida at my parents house. I will be back there April 14, Good Friday. If there is any interest, please let me know. The link below goes to the posts from when I bought these in 2013. Asking $900.00 for both. Wellington, FL. (I think that is what I paid for them) An easy drive from any of SE FL cities like Miami, Ft Lauderdale, and the Treasure Coast. Orlando is about 2 1/2 hrs away, Tampa 3-4 hr drive away. I might also be to assist in the transport, but contact me first. They are brighter than my LaScala I's in New Orleans, but otherwise great. EDIT: I have never heard LS IIs elsewhere, so I assume that the stronger treble is a characteristic of LS IIs vs Is, as this is true for both speakers. EDIT: **** These 1994 LaScala's are LS I s NOT LS II s ******** This 1994 system has some different components and crossover than my other LaScalas from the 1970s (which no longer have original Klipsch xover networks. They now have either non-Klipsch xover networks or modified xover networks). Hence part of the likely reason for differences in treble timbre along with settings. (Apologies on my part. I think LS IIs were 1st made around 2006) Link to 2013 posts that include pictures on page 1: community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/142447-1994-la-scalas-in-central-florida/ Otherwise, I will either do a drive out of FL with these or maybe ship them. (I will do a separate post in this regard). Thanks all NOLA EDIT: Link to prior thread about these LS's including pictures:
  21. Hi there, I am not savvy in the least when it comes to technology. Despite this, my dad has put me in charge of finding a new home for his 03 Harman kardon avr7200. Is there anyone out there you think that is just dying to get their hands on one of these big boys? Ok, they don't have to be dying for it, but any sort of interest you think? it's in great working order as far as I know. This is based on the fact that My dad's pink Floyd albums sound awesome with it. No original packaging or remotes that I know of and no manual. He's got a drawer in the garage full of cords, not sure if including any of these would increase the value enough to be worth the effort. I'm wanting to price this unit at a fair and attractive price (i.e. Id really love to sell it quickly). Because it's heavy and fragile do you think I should only list it locally? I'm in San Diego. Lots of emberassingly bonehead questions that I could really use some help and advice with. Thank you so much! Crista
