MechMan
I have a different version of that same disk, but mine seems "blown up" a bit. No dirt garden and not everyone on the picture, and b side has the large drum pic. I have played it and it sounded good to me
colterphoto1
That would be the US edition. The Euro you can clearly see all 4 Beatles on the left, the shirt saying Welcome the Rolling Stones on the right, and full floral arranagement down front. colterphoto1
I've got some of those LP sized picture frames, also some spacer pieces to keep the glass away from the art. I'm going to put my Beatles picture disc in one of them tonight and see how it looks. M
thebes
I've got this one by The Cars made in England, but pretty noisy:
garymd
I have a bunch also. I'll try to post a pic or two.
garymd
I found one of my stacks. I have a few more hidden away somewhere. I also gave a really cool Sinatra soundtrack pic disk to Mr. Boomac because it had his late distant cousin, the beautiful Grace Kelly on it. colterphoto1
aw, your splhcb has the cover, that makes it worth more. Gary, check out the Right this Minute thread and see who's spinnin vinyl tonight!
Dennie
Well, after searching for a day, I do have a one still. Nothing as Cool as SPLHCB, but Lady and the Tramp looks pretty good. But I had better not let my friend who collects all things Disney know about it!
Dennie
Oops! One More! and the back side.....
oldenough
Tho not a picture disc...I have a few copies of Split Enz..."True Colours" These were Laser etched with a pattern all over. Apparently you can shine a light on them and have your own disco lights floating around the room. Must try it some time. PS. The fact it is "laser etched" is just about the only reason to own this album.

Chicago_Pete
I may have to start buying these on ebay, very cool pics that everyone posted. I have a laser etched Styx LP, I did a double take when I first seen it. So whats the deal, you shine a light on it and it projects something? oldenough
Yeah apparently a bright projected light shone onto the disc at the correct angle will produce a light show of the images etched on the disc. (?)

rplace
Damn you Pete and Damn you Interwebs[] Now I am wasting all sorts of time looking for picture discs. In searching for them I some how ran into this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220362123060&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:US:1123 WTF!!?? I am a zeppelin fan like the next guy but this ain't no beatles butcher cover. What gives? I thought this would look nice on the wall, but I missed out on the auction. At 13 bucks a lot more easy to stomach then the $400 one above. Lots of Who picture discs out there...I really like the numbers one for some reason.
