winchester21
The saints should win easily- I think it will be closer than the 14 point line. However this could easily be a trick game. I would not touch this with a 10 foot pole from a betting standpoint. I 100% agree with the high praise of the saints. This is indeed a special team. I just wish I could be there to see it. WS65711
Jake loses in the Dome for the first time ever! Saints go 8 and 0 !!! []
BigStewMan
yeah; but, they didn't cover the spread so that was a loss for me in my office pool.
winchester21
congrats again- super bowl bound-Panthers were just outclased by all the weapons down the stretch. Losing Davis did not help either. I thought the spread was off but I stayed away. I knew this would be a war.
Moderators dtel Posted November 8, 2009 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2009 Whew 8-0 for the first time ever.
JL Sargent
Wow, Panthers had them on the ropes and the Saints charge back and win it. Could the Saints go undefeated? Did you see the graphic showing the remaining strength of schedule for the Saints? Lowest in the NFL.
Moderators dtel Posted November 8, 2009 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2009 I may have to take an extra blood pressure pill on Sundays, there going to kill me the way these games are going. [:'(]...[]...[]...[:@]...[]
Moderators dtel's wife Posted November 8, 2009 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2009 I am a die hard Saints' fan, yep even through the "baghead ordeal". I can't bear to watch the entire game...makes me too nervous...and dtel doesn't like that I comment on every single play![]
Don Richard
Here's an idea: 14 points should be put on the opponents scoreboard before the game even starts. That way the Saints' games would be more exciting. That would also be the only way the other teams would stand a chance of winning. Man, when these guys get rolling it is something to see. 16-0 for the season? Don't bet against it. Go Saints[<)][D][Y]
JL Sargent
Whoa, wait a minute. The final score was 30 to 20, right? So spotting Carolina 14 no good.[^o)]
Don Richard
Carolina got ahead 14-0. That made the game exciting. The Saints won. N.O. should do the same for all their opponents.
JL Sargent
Ah, yes. I see what you mean. Go Saints. Really fun to watch.
WS65711
Carolina got ahead 14-0. That made the game exciting. The Saints won. N.O. should do the same for all their opponents. But for most of the past 43 years (when the Saints ranked near the bottom of the NFL) nobody ever considered giving the Saints two touchdowns at the start of the game . . . . . ender21
Really fun to watch. Definitely. They've become must-see football on Sundays. I'm a Broncos fan but I make sure I have the Sunday Ticket tuned to a Saints game just because they're so exciting. But 16-0? I haven't looked at their remaining schedule but 16-0 for anybody is a longshot.
Don Richard
But 16-0? I haven't looked at their remaining schedule but 16-0 for anybody is a longshot St. Louis & Tampa next on the road. New England on Mon. nite in the Dome. Then Washington and Atlanta on the road. A Sat. pm game @ Dome vs Dallas, Tampa Bay @ Dome, then Carolina away. Lookin' good. 16-0 not impossible. Moderators dtel Posted November 15, 2009 Moderators Share Posted November 15, 2009 Very UGLY, but 9-
Don Richard
The Saints kept shooting themselves in the foot but won anyway. The injuries are piling up with defensive starters Sharper, Ellis, Greer, and now Porter out. They better get healthy before the Mon. night game on the 30th with New England or their undefeated record will not stand.
Moderators dtel Posted November 22, 2009 Moderators Share Posted November 22, 2009 10-0 Did not think I would live long enough to see this. It's only been 43 years.
