Moderators Youthman Posted July 10, 2012 Moderators Share Posted July 10, 2012 Nothing wrong with that price. I paid $571.38 brand new, A Stock in Jan of 2009.

Moderators Youthman Posted July 10, 2012 Moderators Share Posted July 10, 2012 I bought mine from my local Klipsch dealer back when Klipsch began to discontinue the cherry finish. They were running closeout on them.

willland
474 for an rc64... I have to call BS on that one. I wouldn't. I got my brand new, no sales tax, no shipping $$$, authorized dealer, cherry RC-64 for $550.00 about 2.5 years ago when the Reference IV speakers were still the current models. Blowout price of $474.00 for NOS is not out of the realm of possibilities. Bill
Rewster
I agree I don't want to rush and get ripped just because I couldn't wait a second or two and I am looking for black
derrickdj1
I paid more than that, but just did not want to keep waiting for the best deal and wanted one in perfect condition. Patience? I have heard that word before.

Schu
RC64II... not RC64. I think that is where the confusion lies.
derrickdj1
The bottom line is that all of us will not find as good of a deal at $474 for the top of the line center. But, these discontinued speakers are not always available or obtainable if in another part of the country, so if the price looks reasonalbly fair, jump on it. The way I look at it is that I have brought some of my gear dirt cheap and paid more for some because I did not care to keep waiting. In the end it will balance out. derrickdj1
Two RC 64's sold on ebay recently for over $750. Price seems relative to demand.
