Sancho Panza
I own a pair of those & they would work, but I'd wait & get a pair of Quartet, Heresy, Forte or kg4, which will be a better match.

Of speakers you've mention which ones would be your first and 2nd choice? What about ss line? Thanks for the welcome!
T2K
Yes, they would work for surrounds. For $129 they should work nicely. Check them out for problems before buying them though. I don't think they're KG4.5's though. Check the link below. tromprof
Heresys would be my top choice, but KG4s would work ok too and be less expensive.
T2K
How much are you looking to spend? I see a couple pair of KG 1.5's on CL for $95 & $125 that would work well, if budget conscience. Keith
billybob
How about Chorus?

70-360fe
How about Chorus? I would love to get a pair of chorus II for front and use my I's for rear unfortunately but budget doesn't allow that right now. Budget right now is about 250.00 or less, I can always upgrade later if need to. There is a pair of heresy's for 250.00 on CLS if the guy still has them. Would the the heresy's be better than something in the ss line like the 1.1? I saw some on ebay for a little over a hundred. These would be solely for surround, I'am just want something better for now than the klipsch computer speakers I'am using for the rear. Sancho Panza
Yes, Heresy would be much better. In order: Chorus II, Forte II, Forte, Quartet, Heresy, kg4
wuzzzer
In my experience the KG series works great as surrounds.

Sancho Panza
I'm using Heresy II, kg1, kg2 & kg3; but, I'm looking to replace, or, rather, displace the kg's with Heresy, or better...
70-360fe
I e-mailed a CLS person about a pair of heresy's for 250.00 to see if there still available. Other listings are KM4's for 129.00 or kg4's for 250.00 firm. I'am thinking if the heresy's fall thur I might go for the km4's over the kg4's. Partly because of price and I'am thinking I can sell the km4's easier without taking a loss if I find a part of chorus II's down the road. Thoughts, thanks! Sancho Panza
I would think the kg4's would be easier to sell. Tried to sell my KM-4's for $100, with no response. Ymmv
Sancho Panza
But, Heresy would be my 1st choice of what I've seen on Craig's List Atlanta.
