Max2, The K-55M is hotter than the K-55V, but the K-55V is preferred, especially the solder terminal K-55V as they have the phase plug in them. You can also rebuild the K-55V but you cannot rebuild the K-55M. I have plenty of all three kinds of K-55 drivers, my TSCMs have 4 K-55 drivers per top hat, so that is 28 K-55 drivers with my 7 TSCMs. Roger Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The "M" is basically just the EV version of the solder lugged, or dual phase plug version of the K-55-V (from a performance perspective).
