Coytee
I've always been a fan of Toto. (the band, as well as the dog!) I put in their 35th Anniversary DVD and was doodling around in the next room just having the music on. They played a song that I wasn't paying attention to but, near the end realized I liked the sound of it so I played it again. I couldn't understand most of the lyrics, it simply 'sounded' good. So, here are the lyrics which aren't so bad. I don't know how to insert a youtube video (youtube doesn't yet work on this PC) Here's a link. I can't see the link so I don't know if this is from the same DVD I have or not. If you are a fan of Toto, their DVD's are very very good. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mw6x6LG_I9s Lyrics: Hello my friendsI'm calling to youThe things we believedAre no longer true'Cause we're older nowSo much wiser than beforeThe pain that we've feltWe hold deep insideThe dues we have paidAnd the tears we have criedAnd the emptinessCan we take it anymoreHave we lost all our faith in our GodAnd all that we areWhen we look at our livesWhat are we fighting forOh, let's make this a better worldWhen push comes to shoveWhat have we really learnedOh, let's make this a better worldWhen you're lying awake with your life in your headThinking about friends who are already deadWe can change[instrumental break]Oh, let's make this a better worldWhen push comes to shoveWhat have we really learnedOh, let's make this a better worldIs there hope for us allAs we're waiting to dieLying in bed as we take our last sigh[Part III]

Still employed, married, with 3 pugs, two of them are older than stink.

djk
Toto? I have yet to try dog, I hear it can be tasty. Too bad Jeff died years ago, he was a great drummer. Edited October 7, 2014 by djk
