Moderators Youthman Posted October 6, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 6, 2014 Very familiar with County Line Rd. My parents live on Clay Turner Rd (near Medulla, Sparkman etc). I don't have $4,000 in my entire HT. The only think that was purchased new was my projector. All speakers, amp, receiver, subs, even my HT seating was purchased on craigslist. tigerwoodKhorns
Robert, Welcome to the forum. I say no but some(very few) on this forum may say yes. With AVR "bi-amping", you are using the same component with the same power supply to "enhance" the sound, which in my experience does not add any more detail, power, punch, than running it the conventional way. Bill Bi amping with an AVR adds something...a second set of cables.

Paducah Home Theater
In my opinion, bi-amping is a waste of precious channels. YMMV.

K5SS
The 62's are a noticable step up. I would save a bit more money and get the 62's.
Scrappydue
The 62's are a noticable step up. I would save a bit more money and get the 62's. agree 100%. that is a very large step up in performance in the reference line up. 62 tower and center are FAR superior to the 52 towers and center. I've owned them all.

The History Kid
Sounds like your current configuration is 3.1 - but I'm not sure what you're referring to in regards to speaker setup. Is that a Sony setting?
