Anyone familiar with vintage EV drivers, etc?

Today I "inherited" a fully mounted motorboard that had never been installed of an EV set of drivers, horns, and crossovers...Motorboard and components only, no cabinet...dang...anyway, here's the list of components.  I have no idea of their worth, rarity, historical value, etc.  Everything is in really good condition.  Hoping someone can help out or point me in the right direction.

SP-15 Woofer

T25A mid and horn

T35 tweeter

X6 crossover

X36 crossover

All controls (pots and wiring)

All mounted on a thick board with a fabric face, original

The EV T35 tweeter was used by Paul Klipsch in the Klipschorn, after re-labeling it K77 (with EV's permission).  Klipsch selected a group of T35s to use that tested well (not all of them did).  Later, the K77 went through an evolution to K77M and finally K77F.  They all were very much like hi-test T35s, and EV made some of them.  Now the K77F is made in the Phillipines.

The X 36 crossover will bring in the T35 at 12 dB/octave at a crossover point of 3,500 Hz, which is pretty low, lower than Klipsch ever brought it in.  The X36s are old, so the caps may not be in good shape, BUT  we have 37 year old  X 36s and T35s on our bedroom television set, and they sound great!

The other speakers you list are EV standards, oldies but goodies, but I can't really vouch for the midrange drivers and horns.  EV made some folded horn enclosures, one with a patent by Klipsch, that sounded fairly good.  Maybe your motor board would fit in some ... check online ... I think one was called Aristocrat (smallish, not much low bass, but very clean sounding) and there were bigger ones.

In the big picture, what do you have?  Was this a DIY project from the 1960's, or was it a prototype test bed from Klipsch?

I don't know what you can do with it since you only have one, but it looks pretty cool.

I believe it was a DIY project.  It's well done as you can see, mounted on a very heavy  3/4 ply board which is covered in a nice almost cane-like fabric.  I will have to try and find out where it was originally intended to go.  I already have an EV Aristocrat with mahogany cabinet, and an EV Regency with mahogany cabinet as well.  I think there's a possibility that this will also go into a Regency, but I'll have to take a look....Which means of course that I'll need another cabinet....WAF is going fast.....

Yes thinking the 12 inch Norelco with seperate tweeter I have in my Aristocrat is the right size woofer for the cabinet size. You have the makings for a nice 3 way mono as you know. Regency bet sounds good with whatever 15 inch you have. Enjoy!

It does appear that these were intended for an EV Regency cabinet.  If you have a nice mahogany Regency laying around in the kid's toy box or next to the hot tub, let me know.

Speakin' of hot tubs.....lousy video, but still pretty funny.
