Regarding upgrading the crossovers, yes, buy the most expensive capacitors possible. Don't worry about matching values exactly, after all, it is only microfarads.... 2. Wooden floor, concrete floor, carpeted floor, doesn't matter. And no, the little feet or spikes on the bottom of your speakers have no effect whatsoever. 3. Solid state and tube amplifiers sound the same, so don't worry about it. 4. Sit as close as possible to the right channel speaker, which is where most of the best music comes from. 5. Turn your grills upside down on your speakers to improve the midrange. I'm sure there are others, but I need to get up to get another glass of wine. Don't hesitate to reach out again.
