Boxx
It's a nice 34 degrees here in Ovilla, with no wind chill. I'm going to start the fire in a fireplace just as soon as TCU completes its blow out of Mississippi. We are staying home tonight, ice is predicted for later this evening... BigStewMan
Coldest I've experienced was -5. -27 windchill once in Michigan; and similar temps one day we were on Lake Michigan off Green Bay. We were on our way to help out a smaller Coast Guard ice-breaker that was capsizing from the ice. Crew had already abandoned ship--all survived. Funny, it was in the 40s this morning and i was freezing--i wouldn’t have been wearing more than a light coat back in those days. oldtimer
It's all relative. Or it's all because of your relatives. 6 degrees of separation?

Marvel
Years ago visiting parents up past Spooner, WI. temp was -35 overnight without the wind. It's why I'm retiring to the Philippines... Okay, it's really because my wife is a Filipina. Bruce

I live in Loveland to the north of you and my poor car did not want to get going this morning. I am ready for summer.

CECAA850
Food looks great Schu. When I was a jr in High school I belonged to the Explorers. Think Boy Scouts plus girls. We had a chaperoned camp out in a couple of cabins in the Adirondaks. Wood heat only. It was the coldest weekend of the winter. The high was -10 for the whole weekend. We actually made a substantial fire in the middle of the lake. It was crazy cold, dangerously cold actually. It was an adventure then but I'd never do it again. Mallette
Bit chilly in Seabrook, but when I went out this morning to harvest a dozen blood oranges for fresh juice I still had to refrigerate it before consuming. Jes sayn'... Dave
