wstrickland1
So everything in my early 80's Cornwalls is bone stock. To me they sound pretty nice but there's no doubt that they need to be updated so I'm looking for advice/recommendations. I looked on Crites' website and can get a totally new pair for something like $225. Seems reasonable. I would rather replace the whole schabang for that price vs replacing parts. So are these networks any good? Are there better options out there? Thanks in advance.
moray james
The Bob Crites networks are built exactly to the Klipsch Schematic only they use better modern capacitors they are Klipsch networks. alk engineering has improved networks search them on line. Best regards Moray James.

wstrickland1
Wow on the $750 crossovers. I'm sure they're nice but dang. Crites has a completreplace the caps too butet for $225 unless I'm reading wrong. I guess I could just replace the caps too but for that money i figure why not. If they're decent that is. Cantilope
$320 will get you into the ALK cornscala-wall and they are adjustable. Cornwalls are worthy of the upgrade at whatever level you can afford.

Mighty Favog
Be sure to tell whomever you order them from exactly what drivers your CW I's have. They're not all the same. Mine were built 84' and drivers mount from the rear, making them CW I's but they had drivers for the CW II. Biggest difference being the crossover point between the wooded and midrange. A pair like mine were affectionately called 1.5's. Edited January 17, 2015 by Mighty Favog
